“First trip here we were sold and going to try and get on the waiting list to get an annual spot. Owner and staff super nice and place is well maintained. The weekend were there was really slow but I get the feel it's a family place. Good river access from most spots. Boat ramp also available on site. 5 - 10 minute boat ride from Hamm Creek Park so you could have people there and shuttle between the two. Highly recommend. Locked gate access and you must call if your not an annual user to see the property. On site RV and boat storage if you are a annual user and want to store your equipment there. Adding to my first review. We went back for Memorial Day weekend to tent camp this time. First the staff was super nice and helpful again. Can't say enough good things about them. The tent spots were large enough for several tents with plenty of shade. There were clean restrooms provided, no showers. Good amount of firewood delivered to your campsite for 30$. Highly recommend this place.”

“This is a beautiful park with an extensive amount of things to do, We spent 4 days here and still didn't get around to seeing/doing everything. Of course the dinosaur tracks make for the main attraction, and the dinosaurs were especially amazing for my dinosaur-loving toddler. The Blue Hole was great for swimming, and there was a beach area to set up on. Swimming at Rock Beach was fun too, and the sandy beach area was perfect for relaxing. The river bed was pretty mucky, though, making it less appealing for swimming. There are miles of trails for exploring, with varying difficulty levels. A lot of these trails are shaded, too, which is great during the hotter part of the day. Campsites were roomy and well kept. We stayed at campsite 20, which backed up to trails leading to Rock Beach and river access. Bathrooms and showers were quite nice.”

“This was our 1st time visiting Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park and it was the perfect family vacation for our 10 month old and 4 yr old! We enjoyed the Waterpark and activities the most. Having the on-site restaurant was nice and convenient. The gift shop had reasonably priced souvenirs and Zack was definitely the friendliest staff on site! We stayed in a lodge room, and it wasn't bad! My only complaint is that the walls are thin and the picnic benches out front weren't usable, completely worn down, it's not safe to sit on them! Jesus Christ please replace them management.”

“This park is like nothing I've ever seen before. There are tons of tree surrounding the park and so much room. The roads spread to many different sections of the park that feel like their own little neighborhoods. They also have a ton of amenities like their dog park and workout room.”

“It's a park with grass and park stuff so... It is in an area that does not get much traffic so it is nice for the kids. They just added a playground area. Like most El Paso parks, it lacks shade.”

“Facility is very spacious and clean. Feilds are dirt not bad. Bathrooms are really hot, not much air flow. But the ballpark is home away from home.”

“Not too big, small playground for kids, looks good for picnics. One basketball hoop and couple tables for eating”

“My kids really enjoyed this playground, ages 4 and 7. The playground is one of the best playgrounds I’ve been to in el paso. The kids felt like they were in a mini castle kingdom, exploring every corner. I would have given it 4 stars, if the place was kept up a little more, more trash on the ground than expected. Overall, a fun place to take the kids to get some vitamin c.”

“Great park with access to lake Travis. 8$ per person isn't bad at all and it allowed you to re enter and as well as entry to other Travis county parks. Yes it is clothing optional so keep that in mind. Gets deep pretty quickly but I still managed to find a spot near stairs 1 that was shallow enough for me to hang around all day.”

“I have always loved this place. I visited this park countless times again and again over the course of 10+ years and have brought many family, friends, and girlfriends to walk the environmental landscape that this place has still sustained throughout time. Whether it be feeding the ducks at the pond with slices of bread, walking over the bridges and down the paths in thought, or down the railroad tracks no matter the time of day this had always been a haven of sorts to me and I just cant wait until spring fully comes around so that I can bring my significant other to see all of the ducks tha flock here and all of the different flowers that bloom all over the places. Overall his place will probably forever have my 5star rating. The only thing I wish for is if the community in which it resides in were to come together to upkeep the property to its fullest potential because it is definitely a major tourist attraction if anything for our small little, but growing town if Whitewright.”

“Enjoyed visiting this park during holiday season when it was all set up as Elf village with Christmas trees and lights and music. Great spot for taking pictures and just hanging out and enjoying holiday season. From the Grapevine town website: Liberty Park is the perfect place to sit and relax after eating dinner out on Main Street with beautiful landscaping to admire as far as the eye can see. At Christmastime, a fabulously fun Elf Village makes a great place to play as well as a unique backdrop for your family to take a picture. At other times of year, the carefully maintained trees, flowers, and bushes are an ideal setting for photographers to capture your favorite people in photos. Check out the historical Torian Cabin, built in 1845 and now preserved by the Grapevine Historical Society, year-round. You’ll also discover the “Walking to Texas” statue, Grapevine’s first piece of public art and a tribute to the pioneer families who came west to the greatest state in the nation. The park is also the the site of the Wallis Building, a replica of the 1891 Wallis Hotel and current home of the Messina Hof Grapevine Winery.”

“The employees were were very friendly and explained the rules clearly. The pool and grounds are very clean. The one thing I would change is the hours for the ones that just wanted to swim and relax. Two hours a day just doesn't seem to be enough. The lap swimmers get a lot more time and there aren't as many of them.”

“A nice variety of items for the kids to play. A good area. Only reason I gave four instead of five is that it needs maintenance. Swing set needs tightening. Rope is worn and cable exposed on the rope triangle. The tunnels need cleaning. But still worth a visit. It’s a nice playground.”

“I don't know why there is never anybody there.. it's an amazing park with a wide array of different things to do. Skating and basketball are my favorites. There is also a playground area for the little ones. The bathrooms aren't nasty like a lot of the other parks, which is a definite plus.”

“The pavillion was great, but the power did not work so we were unable to use our electric bubble machine. It also would be nice to have at least a portable bathroom during reservations.”

“An absolutely gorgeous park. The Bermuda grass is full of life and super soft. The pavilion is clean and has two wonderful fans. They have labeled all the electrical outlets so you know which circuit provides the power. Trust me, this is a huge thing when holding events at parks. As a guest and a contractor they provide services to this park, I appreciate the detail that goes into The maintenance of this park. Large basketball court and plenty of playground fun for the kids. Also a nice place to have a picnic with a few picnic tables installed on site.”

“Great hunting experience through a beautiful, historic Texas Prairie landscape. The dogs were excellent. The birds flew fast. The guide was my favorite yet. He was very personable, and also went way out of his way to help recover some wounded birds that kept flying a long distance after they were hit. We left planning our next hunt there and will likely make this a family tradition around the holidays every year.”

“We had our wedding here in June and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. The place was just beautiful. We absolutely loved being able to have all our friends and family stay on property with us. The communication was quick and efficient. The staff truly took care of us. They clearly cared and weren't just after a profit. The rooms and boats were super easy to rent and were well taken care of. The town of Pilot Point was so cute and cozy but the drive to Denton was perfect for any last minute necessities you couldn't find in town. I believe that the prices were right in line for the services we received. I also loved how patriotic the Lodge was and appreciative to military members. If I had to do it all over, I would pick Lone Star Lodge again.”
