“Timberwood Park- What a wonderful neighborhood and a wonderful Park and Clubhouse. What other neighborhood in San Antonio has music in the park during the summer months on a regular basis all free to the Timberwood Community family and friends. I moved here in 1997 and I still love living here. The park has undergone some upgrades in the last few years and it's very nice and family-friendly.”

“Handicapable. Accessible park and swing set. Football field perfect for running around with little kids. Has a bathroom. Men's room was not dirty surprisingly. Lots of trees for shade. Good size parking lot. The park is a little close the a street so that's not ideal but you could always park your car between the park and the road. We will make this a new spot.”

“I absolutely love this park. During the summer they run a free Parks After Dark program on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, they also serve lunch to the kids during the summer and an afternoon snack all year round. There is a teen center there that offers teens all kinds of opportunities. There is a shaded splash pad, playground, exercise area, grills and a small skate park. There is also a soccer field and other classes for all ages even a senior center, activities and events throughout the year. There is plenty of shade and it is right across from the Vineland Drive-in so you can catch a movie after your day at the park.”

“I have driven by the Martin Wildlife Refuge for years and years and finally today I stopped to walk through the 35 acre refuge. It was mid-November and most of the leaves had fallen and completely covered the paths. I found the refuge very calming and beautiful. They say Ireland has a 1000 shades of green, but today the Martin Refuge had a thousand shades of Brown. I recommend the Martin Refuge for people who are looking for a short hike through the woods in a fairly flat area with well maintained trails.”

“Sacred Heart was extremely helpful and supportive during this difficult time. We were listened too and there was great communication. They were compassionate and thorough as we went through what we wanted. We buried my dad there 17 months ago and now my mom 2 weeks ago. I highly recommend this place. The people are easy to talk to and they listen to what YOU are saying. Paige”

“We recently switched schools for our daughter because of location and couldn’t be happier. She had such an easy, smooth transition thanks to the amazing and friendly staff. The Goddard School does fun activities to facilitate learning and we get cute pictures daily. It is apparent that our little girl loves this school and so do we. We highly recommend The Goddard School of Celina!”

“Was very close to road such that in the morning you wake up to cars on the road. But that's because of hunting season. I hear it's "free real-estate" at other times....to make the lightsaber, you need the focusable flashlight. set up a smoky fire and sharpen the beam of your flashlight. Point into smoke and voila!”

“Little Pond Trail is one of the three Pines at Kelly's pond in the Sam Houston National Forest the trail is very thick and hard to walk through Forest Service hasn't maintained trails since Obama shut down the national forests about 8 years ago shortly after he come in the office and they haven't really established opening up all the trails. Hopefully they'll get a budget back pretty soon and start doing the National Forest in the Forest Trails upkeep like they used to.”
