“I had my ACL and meniscus repair surgery on my left knee on July 22nd. I had no idea about physical therapy and the process. The orthopedic surgeon told me not to put any weight on my left knee for six weeks. I had to start therapy within 3 days of surgery. So I looked around in Richmond Texas and found Polygon therapy on Peek Rd.and had my first visit on crutches with Aekta on July 26th. I was nervous about the therapy in the beginning. This was my first surgery and my first interaction with a physical therapist. Aekta looked at the orthopedic instructions and we worked on some knee exercises on my first visit. From day one Aekta was confident about my recovery. In the course of 6 weeks I visited Polygon therapy twice a week and my physical therapists were Donna and Aekta. I followed the exercise program my therapists recommended to do on my own while I was at home. I am super excited today as I was able to put weight on my left knee and walk on two feet for the very first time in 6 weeks. I want to thank you Aekta and Donna for their work and all the therapy exercises they had me do to get my knee back to functioning normally. I couldn't have picked a better place to come for physical therapy.”
