“I showed up late, at about 9:25pm. It tends to give you a good idea of what kind of establishment you're working with. This is not my first visit. I'm impressed that the service seems to be consistently good at all hours of the day and week. I was not greeted at the door and no one came up for several minutes. A gentleman who looks to be an employee off the clock asked me if I wanted to sit down and told me I could just grab a menu and sit anywhere. I think this was primarily because it was 30 minutes to close and would generally be when employees are doing closing duties which is completely understandable. I sat myself in the sushi dining area in a booth and I was quickly greeted by a server. He kept my drinks refilled and got my shrimp tempura appetizer out in record timing. It was piping hot and it's definitely one of my favorite parts about this place. I ordered a Mama San roll which was very delicious. I also ordered a Beauty roll. The beauty roll was good but spicier than I expected and a little too gooey for my preferences. Still enjoyable. I also ordered a Lady Gaga roll to go. We have done take out at this location as well and the quality has been consistent. Overall I am very pleased with this establishment and will continue to enjoy my visits here.”

“If you want a true Mexican experience this is your place. However you will need to brush up on your Mexican Spanish. The staff speaks very minimal English but it’s so worth it. There was a band when we went and sadly we didn’t realize it was $20 a song and was unable to give them the full amount due to only accepting cash. We were able to give them $5. The whole experience makes me love home even more.”

“This was the first time I had the chance to visit a Hoffbrau Steak & Grill House in more than 10 years. The food was just as good if not better at the Grapevine location than when it was many years ago in Dallas. I had the Dr. Pepper Chicken, Three Cheese Mac-n-Cheese with a side salad. It was so very good. My daughter who is 15 and considers herself a steak connoisseur said she had the best steak she has ever eaten. My friend that was with us had the same dish as me and said it was delicious also. For dessert, I had banana pudding which was so very good. My daughter had the brownie which was also very good. My friend shared our desserts and was quite pleased too. I highly recommend visiting Hoffbrau Steaks and I will definitely be back the next time I am in Grapevine.”

The dish overall was flavorful and definitely worth reordering. The very kind young man who took and rang up my order included a complimentary small coconut soup with my order. I don't normally order soup when I dine at Thai restaurants but this soup was really good - light, mild flavoring. I will definitely visit Aloy Aloy again !”
