“Tasty food at great prices. Came by during a nasty storm with a tornado watch over the local Haltom City area. The food warmed me up and put us at ease. I had 2 Pastor, 2 Cabeza and 2 Tripas. We also ordered 3 bistek. The front of the building shows it's age a bit, just as the rest of the area where the restaurant is located. “I have gone here several times for the Salmon Poke. For those of you who aren't familiar poke or a poke bowl is essentially a sushi salad. The salmon poke has raw salmon, crab, thinly sliced cucumber, white or brown rice, lettuce spicy mayo, pineapple and crunchy onion toppings. The addition of pineapple really rounds out the flavor profile with a bit of sweetness to pair with the salty soy sauce, the spiciness of the mayo and savory sides of the salmon and rice. While the meal itself leaves you feeling full, it is light enough to leave you satisfied but not overly full and lethargic. This has become one of my favorite quick grabs for a reasonably healthy lunch. The staff are always super friendly and to go orders have always been ready very quickly which is a plus when stepping out from work for a quick break. I have yet to try it but I imagine their sushi is top notch as well. The salmon used appears to be top quality and is always very fresh. A well deserved 5 stars from me.”

“Not sure why this location does not have higher reviews. My wife and I were in here tonight and had a great experience. I ordered the Italian and she ordered the Spicy Cajun Chicken and both of us loved our sandwiches. We even asked ourselves why we don't make it back here more often. We dined in and one thing that really stood out was during down moments when the staff were not helping customers they all seemed to be cleaning something which was very encouraging to see and everyone was very friendly. We will absolutely be back. One constructive suggestion we personally would like to see in the future is a baby changing station in the restroom. We have a 5 week year old who needed changing and just had to wait until we finished our dinner and made it back to the car. This does not affect our overall experience merely a suggestion for families like ours in similar situations.”

“Best pizza in town! If you like thick crust, pan crust pizza, you will love this place. It is Detroit style pizza and it was my very first time eating Detroit style pizza. Loved it. My son and I had Motown Supreme which has peperoni, Italian sausages, onions, green peppers, mushroom. Just SO good. According to the waiter, there is a long line on weekends. We went on a weekday after a lunch hour rush but it was still full when we got there. It takes a while for the pizza to come out because it is not a thin Italian pizza, this is pretty thick heavy stuff. We will definitely go back for some more.”

“Such a fun cute little date area. Snow cones are adorable. Service is friendly. Prices are decent ($4 I believe for a small) and you get a good amount too. I got 2 smalls and I couldn't finish mine. Flavors are cool. I like that they're not overly sweet! Just like the sign says, the snow cones are gnome shaped! Just perfect. I love the aesthetic too. I hope they stick around. The BBQ place next to it sadly doesn't look like it's there anymore. Fairly good parking for a small area and not too busy in my opinion. Kimzey's coffee cottage is right next to it if you want a coffee beverage as well as a snow cone.”

“I’m mad at myself for just trying Conan’s for the first time. First of all the place looks awesome. The booths have so much character and it’s fun to just hang out. Next is the people working there are super friendly and fun. We got the cheese garlic bread as an appetizer and I could of ate five more plates of it. The bread was soft and had lots of flavor. Last but not least the pizza is great. We got the meater deep dish and it did not disappoint. Looking for a chill place to get some pizza in Austin, this is it!”
