“Experienced both dine in, and takeout, while visiting the area last weekend. Tried just about everything on the menu, had a large group there, and it was all very tasty. Prices are a little on the high side, but pretty much everything is these days. Good DJ and bands throughout the night, and good nice Cornhole setups to enjoy as well. Takeout orders to quite a while to get out to us, but understand their staffing shortages. Will definitely go back, if in the area again...so I can try their breakfast!!”

“I recently made the Italian Sausage and Pasta Soup from Carmie’s Kitchen mix that I picked up in a souvenir shop in Winslow, AZ. It is now my hubby’s favorite soup, ever! I loved it also. I made as directed, using 2% milk, spicy Italian sausage, and added a couple large hands full of baby spinach at the end of cooking time. I topped each serving with mozzarella cheese and we really enjoyed this wonderful comfort soup on a chilly October evening. I can’t wIt to try some of the others that I also purched..”

“It was our first time here. The sitting area, is so honey. I absolutely loved that. Very clean, and the staff was so friendly. And the class of people that come there, GOOD PEOPLE! “Stopped in last night for the shrimp special recommended by a friend. I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem in the little town of Rivera. We had excellent service. Our server came over right away and took our orders. I had a Miicalob Ultra it was ice cold in a frosty mug and did not disappoint. Our bacon wrapped shrimp and oysters were a real treat, bursting with flavor. The homemade tarter sauce knocked our socks off. (They should bottle the stuff.) We had shrimp special both fried and grilled, both were cooked to perfection. Fries and onion rings were hot and crunchy. Friend had red drum fish, I gave it a try, it was crunchy and dripping w flavor. Stop in and don't pass this place by. I will definitely return.”

“Stopped in on Friday for lunch. We had a group of approximately 20 people. Service was prompt and attentive and we enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa. Several of us enjoyed adult beverages including margaritas and a pina colada. The menu is extensive with many different kinds of Mexican foods, also there are weekday luncheon specials. I enjoyed the fajita salad, others had the lunch specials, and more... We were all pleased with our food which was provided promptly and served hot. I wanted to eat on a side porch by myself and Angie gladly made that happen, wiping off my table well. I ordered my vegetables steamed because of food allergies (per her suggestion) and they were plentiful, fresh and wonderful! The delicate golden-brown pecan-crusted trout melted in my mouth. Angie checked on me often; she even remembered my melted butter (which I had forgotten about) and quickly fetched it for me. She offered me seltzer water with lime 'to go'-- she really thought of everything. I felt so well taken care of. Go to Rockfish and ask for Angie! Thank you.”

“The pizza here is really delicious I have not tried the gluten free yet which they do offer. I like how they have a little ice cream parlor inside with some homemade ice cream. “I have tried this place out when it was 2 other restaurants which I actually liked, now I tried this one and I liked as well. They have plenty of seating and our server was very nice and attentive. Our appetizers came out quick and it was delicious! Our food came right after and it all tasted delicious and fresh. My only complaint was the chicken we ordered, I think it was the texture and the fact it was fried and then sauce was added? Not sure but other than that everything was good.”
