“Nicely run mobile home park. The management is on top of things and makes sure the residents keep things neat and the park looking clean. After hurricane Harvey hit, many in our area suffered financially and they actually went out of their way to help their residents during this time of need. The manager, Mistie, has also put in the effort to establish a kid friendly area complete with picnic tables, swing sets, and an open area for kids to play soccer or volley ball. I would have to say that over all this is a really nice place to live.”

It was so peaceful.. all the workers are very friendly, the pool and lazy river were clean, sites are well kept and spacious, the gift shop had a lot of cute stuff and just about everything you could need. This was our first time staying on the west end and we did not regret it! The margaritas you can get st the office/gift shop were delicious. This place is great for literally all ages. We will be back!”

“Wonderful owners! Quiet country setting. Park is clean and very well maintained. Inexpensive washers and dryers that clean great and dry completely on first go around, washers, 1.50 and dryers 1.00 with handrails should you need that extra layer of security on the 3 stairs. Completely different experience that will keep you coming back. Rates are great and electricity is the cheapest you will find among the local parks. Dogs and children are welcomed. The best sunrises and sunsets you can get. Long term and short term stays. Best experience we have had RVing!”

“Really nice well laid out KOA. We arrived thinking we had reservations but my husband had booked an Austin KOA by mistake. The staff were very helpful in getting us into a site. All the staff we've interacted with have been friendly and helpful. The only reason I gave this KOA a 4 is that the pool is much too small for the size of the campground. It was so full by the late in the day that it felt gross to get in.”

“This was our first visit to this park. We stayed for three nights over Memorial Day weekend. We met Micah and Olivia who are both wonderful managers. They ensured we had everything we needed. The park was clean, well manicured and decorated for the holiday weekend. They through a nice pool party on Saturday and there was live music all weekend as well. Highly recommend this place!”

Only down fall is no extra parking for a family with two vehicles... and zero concrete to even think about a tiny walk area/porch... to walk to our front door.”

“We stayed here for two months this past winter in our small motor home. We absolutely enjoyed every minute! The office staff were always friendly and helpful; the maintenance staff polite and always kept the park and facilities in pristine condition. We found the sites to be level and wide even with our slide out. Concrete sites were wonderful especially with it being such a wet winter. Vehicle parking at each site is more than ample on each concrete site. Units in the long term section were well kept, residents friendly and children well behaved. We enjoyed the campfire during the evenings along with the view of the bayou, the long horn cattle and variety of birds. For those who enjoy kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing, this park is ideal. We were able to easily ride our bikes here and on the island and to local businesses. We are looking forward to returning next season and visiting our new found friends. Safe travels everyone!”

“Very very nice RV park (resort). People are very friendly and everybody keeps to themselves, I have never been uncertain on leaving my RV unlocked, w/o a doubt I know 100% not one person is going to even think about messing with someone else's things. For example, there is a washroom on the premise, I can throw my clothes in the washer(s) and/or dryer(s) and forget about them 'so to say' and not one thing be messed with. Long story short, I feel a strong sense of comfort and calm while being there. Strongly Recommend, you're sure to enjoy your stay!”
