Since day one the faculty have been soo loving and caring when it is about the students. Very involved with the parents and always trying to find a way to improve the surroundings for the children. I recommend this school to everyone!!!”

“We bought a sectional from Sean. He was very knowledgeable and patient as we decided which couch to get ( we stayed in the store past closing) and he also cut us a very handsome deal. The furniture arrived within 3 weeks just in time for our housewarming party! The only thing we would have wanted is scotch guard to be included to protect the fabric. We are very pleased with the appearance and feel of the piece. I wish I could post pictures.”

“This school has changed our son's life. Our son struggled for years. We tried 3 schools and homeschooling and even therapy... nothing helped him much. The staff here CARE about their kids and know how to help children like our son -bright and willing, but VERY anxious and needs some extra attention and help. There is no "one size fits all"... every kid is helped as that child needs. My son is not only catching up academically - he is blossoming socially and emotionally. I don't have a big enough thank you for Great Lakes, their administrators, teachers and staff. If you're on the fence about this school, and you have a child with ADHD, anxiety, or who is on the spectrum... who is wilting in typical schools, this place is the school home you've been looking for.”

“Great atmosphere. Fresh and tasty sandwiches! Creative coffee flavors. They have music rooms where I can hear a dude jamming out on an acoustic guitar he grabbed from the wall. I'll be back!”

“What a gem of a little school in central Austin! The floors sparkle and the teachers and staff are there because they WANT to be there. This is a school to watch because they are working hard and paying attention to how kids feel and how they learn.”

“Class of '02 here, they called us the worst class they'd ever had, I don't blame them, with the 3 or 4 fights during lunch and after school daily, not counting food fights, I'm surprised they didn't close it down. Security Guard Mike survived a few of those, even though it would have been better if he'd just let them tire themselves out before interfering. We barely got a graduation, I'm sure they only passed us so that we wouldn't be their problem anymore. I did bump into a couple of my teachers and apologized in behalf of all of us, they said that thanks to us, the rest of their career was smooth sailing. Not all schools are bad, and don't blame the staff if you think they are, if you knew what they've been through I'm sure you'd feel the same way.”

“This day school is a co-op, so parents are actively involved and spend a few days a year serving as teaching parents. The atmosphere is very welcoming and encouraging, and the school takes great care to inform parents about kindergarten readiness and the milestones that their children have reached. The kids are very well behaved and receive a great education.”

“We have brought all of our kids to this center. The staff has been amazing, they are friendly and the children genuinely enjoy being at the center. The staff at Early Learning Centers of Lubbock really take the time to work with them. The center is small and that is what I like best about it, the staff all know my children and the small class sizes really help the children get focused attention.”
