“My review is based ONLY on the atmosphere I feel when visiting as a parent. I cannot speak to the atmosphere in individual classrooms, but I have visited the main office, the attendance office, and the academic counselor's offices many times. The atmosphere is always genuinely relaxed. If they were struggling to give the office an appearance of a relaxed feeling, I wouldn't be fooled. It has been genuinely friendly. I'm not talking about American, superficial politeness. I don't mean the fakey, hypocritical stuff people put on in public. I mean that the sweetness and kindness with which staff receives parents is real. It's part of who they are as people. It's a joy to interact with good, old-fashioned, awesome Texans whenever I have to pop in at the school. Makes me proud to live in the district.”

“We Absolutely adore the Houston swim club in League City/Dickinson. Everything about this place is fantastic. My daughter has been taking lessons for a year now. Water safety and confidence is so important for kids, and Houston swim club makes it a priority. I love the development she gets from having a single instructor, as well as, having the guidance and interaction with a team of instructors at different stages of skill building. The way the team communicates and the way they've gotten to know my daughter is fantastic! I feel safe knowing that everyone is working together to teach my kiddo! (She needs it- that crazy girl! Lol) I love HSC!”

“My daughter has been dancing at Providance PAC for about 6 months now. This is a beautiful, family owned and operated competitive dance studio near Rockwall. I absolutely love the community, it’s a whole vibe ❤️. I can’t wait to watch my daughter compete for the first time this year. We’re both really excited! Highly recommend”

“My two daughters have been attending music lessons here (piano and ukulele) for several years now and our family loves it. The facilities are clean and nice, and Brenda, Emily, and the rest of the staff are great. I'm not very musical, but they do such a good job of instruction that my kids have always been able to practice at home indepently without my assistance. Classes are very small so kids get a lot of individual attention. The few times we have had to reschedule lessons, the staff were very flexible and easy to work with. Students do recitals in the Fall and Spring and get to show off their skills. They also offer summer programs where kids have the option of trying out different instruments (that is where my daughters first began ukulele). Very glad to have found this place!”

“I’m very blessed as a father to have an Elementary school like this one for my son to attend and get his education from. The teachers, the faculty, the staff, the principal and everybody that works there are all genuinely polite and want to see each and every student succeed. By by far on top of the newest updated curriculum being taught in the classrooms and the STEM work, which seems to be the future of educational learning is being taught and emphasized at such a young age. What My son as a kindergartner is learning at Donald elementary is unbelievable. The school events and the functions are great and they make you feel part of the family and I’m happy that my son is going to this school. Several pictures are from different times and events. They have a large playground which makes it great for students, family, teachers, faculty and even the local community to see some of the outdoor events this school does where all proceeds go towards improving the school and helping equip our amazing teachers with the books and tools needed. You can see pictures of kids having fun at a fundraiser with events, prizes, zip line, mazes, food, classic car from a Halloween event. The fire department shows up. You can see some pics from the parking lot from the first day of school and in one of the classrooms as well during the first day of school and other days when I volunteer to help the wonderful teachers out. Do not speed in this area because of the amount of kids and people out especially during the morning and afternoon hours and yes a police officer usually sits on the street that turns into the school daily so help keep our kids safe and don’t speed or you will hopefully get a ticket. It is safe and you must have permission to be at the school and it is secure for the kids to be at. Great PTA and great library and school activities here. I’ve already purchased school supplies for next year.”

“After trying two different child care centers, we finally got to the Learning Ladder and made this our home! My daughter has been here almost 2 years. Most of the teachers have been here long term, doesn't seem like a weekly turn over rate like at most places. They are all so attentive to the kids needs and have great communication with the parents. I love this place for my toddler!”

“When I enrolled my son last August it was a time of a lot of change for me. A new state, a new job, a new town and the first time I was putting my infant son into daycare after coming off of maternity leave. So, needless to say I was very sensitive and picky about where I would be entrusting my baby to stay while I was at work. From the first time when my husband and I toured the school we were greeted with smiles and friendly faces which made us feel at ease. Ms. Kristy (who leads the infant room) was informative and so knowledgeable about all things baby. She was also so friendly and made us feel comfortable. Fast forward a year later and my son jumps up and down every morning when we pull up. Every teacher has been wonderful and we have formed bonds with all of them; Ms. Kristy, Ms Rita, Ms Merlin, Ms Brenda, Ms Claudia, Ms Rosie and Ms Karla to name a few. They all genuinely love and care for all of their "kids". Even the admins Ms Ricky Ms Erica and the former Ms Ruthanne all made our experience memorable. The facility is very clean and has amazing views. They also have a built in swimming pool where children can learn to swim. They do a great job with transitioning your child to the next class by getting them used to the other teachers before they move up. I am very sad to say that we will be switching day cares because we moved a lot more North and the commute would be insane. Although I was considering driving 45 min out of my way, that is how much I love this place. CCOA goes above and beyond and provides a real family unit to help your child thrive. It's so cute to see my son make sign language and imitate the sounds that animals make at such a young age. Yes, the tuition is steep compared to other places but I pay every cent happily knowing my child is well taken care of. You will not be disappointed!”

“Antonella is so talented and an amazing teacher to our little one. She engages him in her lessons and gives us great advice and things to work on in between lessons. Antonella always takes the time to answer all of our questions and even plays her violin for us! So cool! We love her and are amazed at the progress our son has made in such a short time.”
