“We lived at Hickory Creek Park in a Motorhome for 13 nights in Dec of 2021! :) •Pros: Super spacious site (21) -- we felt like we had a part of the lake all to ourselves. This park is super close to DFW airport, so of course, there is air noise, but other than that it was pretty quiet! •Cons: The shore was super dirty! Some of our family came out one day and we decided to glove up & ended up filling three trash bags! •Highlights: We loved the beautiful sunrise and sunset views. One of our beach chairs stayed on the shore our entire stay. Nice spot for those who need to fly -- DFW airport is 20-30 min away! •Furbabies Review: Cookies (our dog) loved morning naps on the shore. •Our recommendations: Please introduce recycling to your facility! The Earth will thank you. Thank y'all for having us! We're off Livin' the Dream with Cookies & Cream. :)”

“Our family loves LCA! The most unique aspect of this school is the strong focus on mentoring, connecting students, and bringing them closer to Jesus. Admittedly, when we first enrolled our kids, I thought the Higher Ground (chapel) program was neat, but our kids were already invested in our church, so I could take it, or leave it. I quickly learned that the Student Life department is the heart of LCA--they are purposeful, intentional, and genuine, and their goal is to build relationships (student-to-student, mentors, teacher-student, adult volunteer-student) so that students have many God-loving people to walk through life with, and to ultimately strengthen their faith walk. Our family decided to send our younger kids to LCA BECAUSE of this program--the program I could take or leave? Yes, it really is that good! I have had the pleasure of watching my kids grow and strengthen their relationship with the Lord, and I am so thankful. Students must invest, of course. If they choose to go all in, they'll be surrounded with the most caring and wonderful people, and they'll grow in their faith in ways they never imagined. If they don't commit, these same people will still love them, pray for them, and walk with them through life. I focus on this aspect of LCA because it is what makes it unique. We also have qualified and caring teachers, high-level academics, and excellent athletics and arts programs. These are all excellent and noteworthy, but at the end of the day, the character of your kids is far more important than all of the other stuff. They'll get it all at LCA! Though no school is perfect, I wouldn't choose to send my kids to any other school.”

“This review is way over due (like 4 years). Four years ago, after we had just settled my mom's estate, I decided to use some of the money towards a piano. There was never money or room in our house growing up for one. I began taking lessons in 2007 using a Yamaha digital keyboard and every time I spoke with mom on the phone, she always asked me how my lessons were going. My piano teacher suggested that I look into a hybrid piano since I liked the digital aspects but wanted the feel of a traditional piano. I stopped by Piano Gallery the Sunday following the Memorial Day weekend. There were cars in the parking lot but the door was locked so I called the store's number and Bob answered. He said they were closed that day (there was a private event) but asked me if I would be willing to wait a few minutes and he would be right there. Bob arrived within 5 minutes. I told Bob I was thinking about a hybrid and he showed me the Casio Calviano GP-500. Bob patiently walked me through the construction and features and played it so I could hear the sound. The retail was $6000, Piano Gallery was selling it for $5,000 but Bob agreed to take my Yamaha in for a $500 trade in and luckily, there was a $500 promotion. I emailed my piano teacher for his feedback (he said go for it) and midweek, I came in with my headphone and had a practice run with piano. Finally, I came in on Saturday and purchased the piano. Bob arranged to have it delivered that same day. This piano is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I play I nearly everyday and I think the quality of my playing has improved quite a bit because it has the sound and feel of a traditional piano. I am able to practice with my headphones during the work day (my husband works at home). I am also able to easily record songs using either MIDI or WAV format (USB drive). Thanks Bob! Sue”
