“We were pleasantly surprised! This place has always been great but we had not been there since before the coronapocolypse. We debated between this place and the larger buffet around the corner. We made the right decision with the Hong Kong Palace. The buffet is a bit smaller but the quality of the food is leagues ahead of the “big buffet cattle call” place down the street where it always feels like the staff is throwing shade at the customers. The staff was friendly almost to a fault, the food was fresh and the choices were various and delicious. The kimchi was deceptively plain looking but knocked my socks off and cleared out my sinuses. The hot and sour soup was exactly the way I like it, we ordered 2 containers to go because I knew I would be craving some more later in the day. The price was good, about what you’d expect. The real take away here is getting to satisfy my Chinese food buffet craving with a thoughtful selection of food that tasted like the chef cared about the preparation. Quite pleased and we will be making our back here again very soon. Don’t let the exterior fool you. Yes, they are open and definitely worth your time.”

“I'll try to be as fair as possible. I had to assist an elderly relative navigate the legal system. I agree, if you break the law, you need to face consequences. I placed several calls to the municipal court to clarify several things. Ivan was very helpful, but Cynthia was outstanding. The pre-trial went smoothly and fairly. No complaints there. The only suggestion I have is that the municipal court provide a secure way to submit sensitive documents (ID) online. Due to COVID, court is being done online through Zoom. Defendants are being asked to email a copy of their ID. Email is not secure and opens the door for personal information theft. I have never used Zoom before. I logged in 15 minutes early and I'm glad I did. I had to scramble because I had to download an app to my computer to be able to access the online meeting. I had to refresh and then test microphone and speakers; finished just in time for court.”

They had great relationships with industry partners and an internship fair that helped me get my foot in the door at my current employer of 8 years now. The engineering senior design program was excellent with each team getting paired with a local company with a real problem to solve. Now for some critiques: a majority of my mechanical engineering classes were led by professors who were seemingly only interested in research and either loathed teaching or had no teaching skills. There was also no mat lab or engineering software integration with the classes with the exception of CAD design class. That was a huge shortcoming.”
