  My Mother is here and I know that some people may think that this is a strange question to ask but, I live in another state. When making your payment monthly what all is included in the room and board? I am finding extra charges on her bill. With the amount being paid I would think that certain items would be covered. When I call no one is ever in the office to answer questions. My sister visits about every other day and it's difficult for her to find someone to speak with. Thank you in advance.

  When my wife and I found out that her mother was in need of long term care, we began to visit local health care facilities. We showed up unannounced and interviewed staff and residents. We looked at issues like cleanliness and smell, politeness of staff and resident to caretaker ratio.
  Autumn Care of Chesapeake was the fourth and last place we needed to visit. Not only do the provide great care, the also helped us with the very difficult and confusing process of applying for medicare.
  My wife's mother has not once had a single complaint since she first became a resident in late November.
  She is in a safe environment, and we rest easy knowing she has round the clock care.
  We highly recommend this facility to anyone that has a relative with rehabilitation or long care needs.

  This facility is always so neat and clean. The staff are so friendly when I visit. Staff are attentive to their residents, and overall just a great team to have on your side!
