“These guys are a life saver. I was able to order online and pick up in store in under 30 minutes on dozens of occasions (in the middle of a project). The distribution center is only 5 miles from here too so they are able to get almost anything I needed in their house brand and name brand same day. The SpeedPerks program is a good deal too. Prices are very close to Rock Auto and Parts Geek (or better) after shipping costs and available in 30 minutes. Returns are easy and loaner tools have been in great shape. I used to buy parts from Rock Auto and specialty tools from Harbor Freight but free loaner tools and good discounts on parts with SpeedPerks (often 15-25% off list) are tough to compete with.”

“I know this review may surprise some people who have dealt with chesterfield department of social services before. But I would like to shout out my case worker Josh Frank. He went above and beyond to help me fix the issues I was having with my Medicaid application. He walked me through my application to figured out the issue I was running into and why After finding the issue, instead of giving the run around like most before him, he told me it would take him some time but he would work on it and give me a call. Mr Frank had me convinced he would call me back. The conversation wasn’t one I had with a case worker before. He answered my call 10 minutes before his Lunch break and he stayed on the phone for a good 30 minutes patiently explaining everything so I could understand and give him all the information to help me out. Never felt rushed talking to Mr. Frank. 3 weeks go by and I get a call from my case worker. He lets me know he has fixed all the issues on my application. Also that I had been approved for Medicaid and then walks me through more steps to help me better understand what I need to do in the future so these issues aren’t reoccurring. Best experience ever with social services. If more people here were like Josh then this place would be running like a well oiled machine. Rushing people off the phone or lying doesn’t solve problems just causes people to go in circles. Taking the time to hear people out and honesty actually helps lower the calls to the office. So with that said I would like to thank Mr. Frank for all your help and time you put into my case and help me get the correct help I needed!!! Thank you!!!!”

“Driver Joseph (I think was his name) was wonderful. He was professional and friendly and I wish all drivers were so great! We had an issue with our delivery, and with no hesitation, he called his dispatch person to get the ball rolling on a clam. We took possession of the product to see if we could still use it even though it looked like it might be damaged by the box. Turns out they were fine, buy the claims company for Saia even followed up to make sure we had what we needed.”

“I'm in my senior year here at Matoaca and I have come to realize that I would not want to be anywhere else. Matoaca offers a present and yet not overbearing amount of diversity that allows students to always feel like they have a group, but also see the other sides and perspectives to many of life's situations. The school had gotten a bit stricter regarding policy with the change of our Principal, however, I would argue that this has limited the amount of fights that the school has in comparison to prior years and keeps students focused on the end goal. Of course, no school is perfect. There are always bad apples and things happening beneath the surface, however I can assure you that this happens EVERYWHERE in Chesterfield. Matoaca has an excellent staff that offers numerous resources in order to avoid being caught up in bad situations and that promote success. They hold career and college fairs, and even college nights to help make the entire process of applying easier for students and their families. It does not matter your background, teachers at Matoaca generally speaking will support your ventures and work to make sure you are involved and getting the most out of your education. I cannot express how much that tremendously has helped me from my freshman year to now. I highly recommend those looking at this school, may you be in district or applying for a specialty center, to talk to the students and come visit for a day, I am sure you will not be disappointed. While we surely don't have the same type of funding as larger schools like Thomas Dale, Cosby, Clover Hill, etc. Our school still has the same passion and standards with a staff that works diligently to make sure that you take as much as you can from your high school life. Go Warriors!”
