Friends who had already been using Oakton Valet for over 10 years highly recommended this dry cleaner when I moved to the area in 2004. I've been using them ever since. Never once have they damaged or ruined any of the numerous clothing items I gave them (cashmere sweaters, business suits, silk blouses, men's suits, winter coats, curtains, etc.). The owner is also an excellent seamstress. I'm short, so new pants and skirts always require hemming, and she does an excellent job. I once had a dress made of very delicate fabric and her handiwork on the hem was perfect. They offer shoe repair service too. I recently brought in an old pair of knee-high winter boots to be re-soled and they came back looking new and better fitting.
