“A very nice campground right next to Burke lake with a great trail goes all the way around the lake. The camp store has few items aside from the essential, but what it does have is at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and helpful. All around a great campsite”

“There is two multi-purpose turf fields for soccer, football, lacrosse, and field hockey. There is also a large grassy area in which you can let kids run around and enjoy themselves. In addition, there is a baseball area with fields and cages. You can visit for free, and can walk in the woods.”

“Review for the summertime when the train is running. This is an awesome outdoor train ride. The real deal in terms of a steam engine. The driver really hits the gas, the kids love the tunnel, the ride is generously long, and the station is really tastefully put together. Couldn't get my kid off it, and for something like $3 a ride, I was happy to oblige.”

“Bicyclists Beware! The connector trail and bridge is wonderful for providing access to the W&OD trail ... but Meadowlark Road is very dangerous with hilly terrain and two blind curves, so bicyclists who want to proceed past Abbey Oak Drive toward the gardens should always use the Meadowlark Gardens Perimeter Trail as intended by the County.”
