“I frequent the Port of Virginia regularly and I can tell you without a doubt that this terminal is far better than Virginia International Gateway (VIG) and Portsmouth Marine Terminal (PMT). The human element here is huge, nothing is automated. The employees are respectful, helpful, and efficient. Usually I'm only here for an hour or less, but even when something goes wrong it's usually dealt with fairly quickly. The Port of Virginia could take a lesson from this particular terminal, truckers would much rather deal with humans than robots.”

Throughout my time going here, she’s returned her loyalty to me as much as I’ve been a loyal customer. Nail and spa always fits me in last minute as I’m super busy most times. “The hotel itself is almost brand new and in a fantastic location. The staff did a fantastic job in ensuring things such as surfaces and rooms were being satanized as well as doing their best to promote social distancing. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure every process from check-in to complementary breakfast went as seamlessly as possible. My only qualm I had with the hotel was a personal one, the bed itself was a bit too soft for me. However I am fully aware that this is just a personal preference and it shouldn't dissuade anyone from staying at this Tru by Hilton. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area.”
