“I've finally gotten the chance to try North End Gelato after visiting North End Juice many times. I'm so happy I did! I'm not sure why the door handle is so low but once I got inside, I noticed it was smaller than I expected. However at least 12-15 people can be seated inside at the benches and mini tables along the wall (there's more seating outside for sunshiney days). The guys behind the counter were pleasant, and we chatted about their favorites while I tasted all 6 non-dairy flavors ( I went with the pineapple ginger). I forgot to ask if they post their flavors daily but I can do that when I return because... Vegan ice cream!”

“I have lived at 2000 Riverside Apartments for six months now and I'm very happy with my choice. There is a good sense of community in this building that is supported by the staff (hats off to Colleen, Candace, Paul, Daryl and Tito) who are always friendly and helpful. I have experienced the occasional after hours noise issue, something common in any apartment I have lived in, but the building management here addressed the issue quickly and now I sleep soundly. Point is, there are always going to be some issue, so it's important to me to live somewhere that my concerns are heard and the rules are enforced in a professional manner. I love all the building amenities, especially the gym and free coffee (currently not available due to the virus, but understandable). I picked this place for the location along the river with the easy access to the trail system and it has been incredible! I'm happy to call this place my home.”

“Came in for Fajr prayer on my way north driving one morning, and while it was hard to find the building (it blends in as it is located in an old house; it is on the corner of the street just in case you need to know by the way) they were very friendly brothers and it was clean and had street parking. A good amount of brothers were there for Fajr prayer too, and on a weekday nonetheless. MashaAllah.”

“The Symbol Apartments are by far the nicest apartments in Scott's Addition, if not in all of Richmond. The units themselves are modern and beautiful, with ample natural light, and the entire facility (gym, pool, courtyard) is always kept impeccably clean. In addition to the grounds being great, the staff is absolutely amazing. They are both helpful, understanding, and fun. I have only really worked with Jessica and Chesley, but my experiences with them have been warm and wonderful. They put on fantastic community events like "Friendsgiving" and trivia nights, not to mention awesome pool parties in the summer! They are extremely hard working, and do a wonderful job maintaining order and FUN at the same time among the Symbol Community. I can honestly say that because of this apartment complex and management team, I have made some of the most amazing, lifelong friends. I highly recommend living here, you will never want to leave!”
