  As a born and raised Roman Catholic, I was not involved with any church, for many years. I did not enjoy going to Mass and when I did, I didn't get anything from the sermons. I truly longed to feel the love of God and his son Jesus. When I moved to Virginia Beach, I researched churches and found Galile????.
  
  I've since, found the love of God and Jesus, have been accepted by the congregation and was confirmed as an Episcopalian.

  I have, over the years, attended many churches. Galilee, I have to say, is an amazing gathering of people. The rector, Fr, Andy preaches the Gospel from his heart, with humor, enthusiasm and much wisdom. The church community is so caring and nurturing. If you are looking for a church, come for a few Sundays and check us out. I'm sure you will agree with me.

  The preaching and teaching are amazing. It is warm and loving. There are plenty of programs for all ages to learn and grow. The church acts to address concerns beyond itself. People have fun while serving others. Parishioners connect in substantial ways. Deep friendships are formed here. The Holy Spirit is present in worship. I love it!

  A vibrant church where every Sunday I experience God's presence. Many have commented, " I feel like the sermon was meant just for me".

  This is a church where you can feel theHoly Spirit lift you-up. There is no doubt that Jesus is with you as you worship. The church has three distinct services each pleases the way you want to worship. Come and see. BTW - the sermons are wonderful. John
