“O-M-G it's hard to describe how much I love this adorable shop! Nearly everything inside is beach and mermaid-themed. They have housewares, clothing, jewelry and little gifts. I love the baby mermaid and beach gifts. They have hammocks, yard flags, coffee mugs, candles, plates, bowls, napkins, etc. You name it, you can probably find it here. There are two entrances into this shop and it's larger than it initially appears as it takes up a corner space in the building. The cash register is in the middle and to the left of that is some pretty classy ladies beachwear and coverups as well as beach towels and some cute jewelry. If you are a local you can get 10% off your purchase. Boom!”

“After another car slow-rolled into the back bumper of my new car at a light, their insurance referred me to Caliber for the estimate. I was impressed by Thomas' professionalism and thoroughness and chose to have my repair there as well. Caliber did a beautiful job, refinishing the bumper cover perfectly. He picked up on some damage to a trim part I had not noticed and replaced that. I was worried about the paint match, but they got the color and texture of the multi-hued metallic paint spot on. I couldn't be more pleased with their work. The timeline they gave me was clear, and they beat it by a day when the parts arrived on the early side of expected. I had clear and complete explanations and communication every step of the way. All in all, great service AND great workmanship.”

“Several years ago I would not darken the door of a Dollar Tree store. I felt like everything in it was probably cheap cheap and not even worth the dollar. I have since changed my mind. Dollar Tree is an excellent place to buy whatever you might need, they do have lots of plastic containers but they are all good quality. Also the food is good. You can eat cheaper at Dollar Tree then you can anywhere else including Walmart! Totally endorse Dollar Tree!”

“I think Beef Jerky Outlet is my husband's #1 favorite shop to visit whenever we're in Virginia Beach. Even when I come to visit family without him, I'm not allowed home without at least one bag of jerky. We first saw the store the day after we got married in Virginia Beach, him seeing the sign while driving down the Oceanfront through his peripheral vision. I have never experienced him making a faster turn to go to a store. It most certainly did not disappoint. There are barrels set out to sample the different flavors, which is something I greatly appreciate not being from the area so I know whatever I'm driving away with I'll be happy with. I also love that there are multiple sizes of each flavor and bulk discounts for buying multiple bags. I always pick up a few sticks of more "exotic" meat jerky, our favorite being kangaroo. The parking lot is usually empty, as it is reserved just for patrons of the shopping center. The store has been clean every time I have come in. This will continue to be a must-visit every time I am in Virginia Beach.”

“The Hilton Garden (and I believe other Hilton properties) allowed me and my wife to stay at this hotel free of charge for working in hospital care.. HUGE humanitarian offer during this time of pandemic and greatly appreciated! The lobby, hallways, and rooms were incredibly clean without smelling like chemicals. Parking was conveniently located across the street in a garage (normal parking anywhere at the oceanfront during tourist season is $10/day). The room was spacious and offered a great view, but the TV interface felt dated and limited (I recommend considering a more intuitive and responsive program guide service). Understandably, food services were not provided at the hotel but we wish we would've been informed at check-in which would help us plan ahead.. however they did provide menus of local restaurants that were still operating for take-out. Overall a fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone visiting the oceanfront!”
