Flight Line Fitness Center NAS Oceana

Because my daughter has soccer practice on base on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, I started going to the fitness center. I'm there from 1830 until 2000 (closing), There have only been about a dozen patrons there so getting on any of the equipment is never a problem. Staff is friendly and the facility is clean.

Free for Veterans and Active and I think dependants. For a beginner or someone who just wants to stay fit and get toned I suggest coming here. There's not that many people in the mornings and around 1800.

Plenty of cardio and weight training options. Their male locker room is a little dated but it gets the job done. I usually go there early afternoon and it is never that crowded.

There is also a gym on one side but I don't get to use it that much. However, as far as Navy gyms go its not the worst I have been to.

Beautiful gymnasium! The front desk workers are polite and helpful! The workout equipment is great and this is an overall 5***** gym especially for military, it’s free!
