Delivery people are nice and usually earlier than expected. One guy even came back up the steps to bring my forgotten ranch - kudos. “I've been coming to Virginia Beach for business and family fun for many years. I have eaten here often for over 30 years. And while some restaurants here can get a little same-y with offerings after a while the overall choices are generally good for families. We stumbled into Tulu quite by accident and were pleasantly surprised across the board. The staff was cheerful and attentive without overdoing either from the hostess to the servers. The beach-side location and view was lovely. And the food was simply marvelous. The cocktails were magnificently prepared and the pours were generous. My wife had the sweet corn and crab chowder along with the pan seared tuna appetizer for her dinner which featured wonderfully fresh fish and preparation. I had the pesto shrimp and fresh mozzarella pizza with balsamic glaze. Filling and fantastic! And the prices were right in line for good dining in this area. We will happily and anxiously return.”

“They have a great bar outside. Good food and great prices. The downside was there is no parking and if you wish to park, you HAVE to park valet. This seems like a cheap way to make more money. However, I understand that the valet is usually separate and tipped separately, so hopefully it's not a scheme to dump more money into the restaurant. The atmosphere outside was wonderful on a sunny day. Their alcoholic beverages were well made and tasty. Their alcoholic drinks though are very pricey compared to other places. Also, the place is always very packed so expect to wait an hour for your table. However, I'd say it's worth it for the food. They also have board games outside to keep you busy and plenty of outdoor seating to wait at.”

“We always have such a great experience here. My go to, "celebratory" restaurant! The service, food and drinks are always fantastic. Eating outside, on the water, is our favorite. There is even a spot for outdoor games. We always have exceptional service but today our waitress was Tracey, 10 out of 10. We ordered a couple shots and she was the first waitress to ask us if we wanted them chilled. She was prompt and kind and we look forward to having her again in the future because we will definitely be back! Oh and after our fantastic meal, we decided to buy some oysters to go, to cook at home. The 2 gentleman that helped us were incredibly helpful and friendly. One of them even let me try one of the oysters we were buying! Going above and beyond like that is exactly why this is my favorite restaurant!”
