“Tina Matthews: I was at a complete and total loss and I had absolutely given up on figuring out how to care for my mental health because I had been discharged from SEVERAL mental health professionals because they simply couldn’t figure out how to treat me, they threw in the towel and essentially said “I don’t know how to help you”. My husband came home from an appointment with Tina and said “she really knows her stuff and I mentioned you to her and she thinks she knows how to help you”. So I took a chance, and I scheduled an appointment. I was apprehensive and didn’t have much faith because at this point I was so tired of getting meds that didn’t work and had horrible side effects. Enter Tina. In one appointment I knew it was a right fit. She listened and she was up for the challenge. Without getting into too much detail, she managed to provide more help for me than ANY other provider in the 17 years that I’ve been struggling with my mental health in a span of less than 6 months. Under her care, I had my first day without any thoughts of harming myself and now I have had several months like that. She took the time and cared enough to stick with it, even though it took a lot of med moving and trial and error. My only regret is that I’m moving out of the area and won’t get to see her anymore. I’m giving 5 stars, but really she deserves 500 stars. If you can get an appointment with her, I HIGHLY recommend.”

“I don't normally write reviews, but felt so inclined after my experience working with Chris at Beach Sign & Design. I wrote Chris after a sign I ordered online was malfunctioning & not working. After fighting with the original company I purchased from, I sought Chris's company out for help to make the sign usable (not realizing this was not a typical or offered service) Chris readily agreed, figured out the problem in less than an hour, and graciously fixed it within a day! What was 27 emails back and forth with another company was fixed in less than an hour by Chris. This type of generosity and willingness to go above and beyond for customers in this current climate is difficult to find these days. Though I didn't purchase a sign from Chris, what stuck out was that these are the people we should be giving our business to. “The staff was incredibly friendly. We had massages at another place that cancelled on us as soon as we got to VA beach for the day. We were enthralled to learn that Salon @ 31st does massages. Princess did a prenatal massage on me that was fabulous. Johann worked on my husband and he enjoyed it. We also had pedicures and the ladies were very friendly and very skilled. We highly recommend!”

“We've been attending Calvary Baptist for almost a year. It is one of the most friendly, down-to-earth churches I've ever visited. The music is uplifting. The messages are biblically sound, and never dull! Pastor Bubba delivers his sermons with enthusiasm. Calvary has countless outreach programs, various bible studies, and classes/activities for kids of all ages. Best of all, the people who attend are from all walks of life and all different ethnicities. You don't have to worry about being judged about how you look or what you wear. The pastor, the deacons, and members are there for you to help in any way they can. I am very happy there.”

“Just an amazing experience so far, the community and people are great & friendly, the property is very well maintained & clean, the amenities are available as promised, and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure that you are taken care off. Steven was awesome with everything moving in, and although I can’t remember his co-workers name, she was just as awesome with belong with a slight vehicle issue that I was facing. This is quote honestly the best apartments/property that I have stayed at. Spacious rooms, modern kitchen touches, and so on. I highly recommend anyone to check Spring Water out, and I wish I had come across it much sooner!”

The lunch special was only $6.25 and was appropriately sized and definitely delicious. I do wish the Szechuan chicken had a little bit more chicken in it, but everything was cooked perfect. “I had the best experience with this company. Showed up early, professional, went above and beyond to replace my hot water tank. They replaced the pipes and valves and did a great job all around. They were meticulous in making sure they placed cloth sheets on my carpet as to not track dirt inside. The owner also showed up on the job just to make sure all was going well. “This unit was huge. Lots of space for a family to enjoy. Being on the top floor definitely enhances one's view, and it was a great view of the ocean. I actually prefer it to the view from the first floor oceanfront side of the building. The kitchen was nicely equipped and there was plenty of comfortable seating throughout the unit. The two spare bedrooms on the first level of this unit are noticeably bigger than the ones in the unit we stayed at previously. And the mattress on the bed in the master bedroom was the best mattress we have ever experienced. What a wonderful week. Thank you to the owners for keeping the place so nice.”

“I can’t say enough about Dr. Heather, she was phenomenal and the surgery plus the after care was a fraction of what I had paid to my vet for 6 visits that didn’t work. Dr. Heather is caring and called to follow up- great Dr that I highly recommend. I wish I knew of them prior to so many wasted visits to my regular vet. I even sent my sister and her dog there, I just recommended my coworker as well. My sister had the same great results! Very happy family! I can’t say enough about the fantastic service and value of Animal Vision Center and Dr Heather. Starfire has recovered and has no issues- totally healed and healthy!
