“Dr. Nguyen is amazing and she has an awesome team! Everything from reception, to testing to surgery and post op, went smoothly. Thank you! Long Version: I had worn glasses and contacts for probably almost 20 years. I went in for lasik before leaving the country to travel so that I could avoid carrying a year's worth of daily contacts. Little did I know this would really be life changing. Dr. Nguyen and her team are very knowledgeable and approachable. For something that can be very scary to some, they make you feel at ease with the process. In fact, one of the ladies had baked cookies and brought them in for surgery day - nice homey touch! Dr. Nguyen offers good pricing options, as well as, a lifetime option (if I recall correctly after 6 months) which I opted for in case in my older age I ever need a 'touch up'. It's been 6 months since I went in for lasik and I have to say its freaking amazing to wake up and see without reaching for glasses or waiting to get up to put contacts in. Snorkeling without worrying about water and my contacts has been awesome. And just overall being able to see as far as the horizon, clearly, has made my travels even more memorable. I definitely would recommend Dr. Nguyen for anyone looking for lasik in the NOVA area!”

He and his staff are absolutely more than outstanding. From the moment my surgery was scheduled I was informed of everything that was going to happen, the hospital I went to to have the surgery was incredible, Dr. Patel himself has the best personality and made me feel so comfortable. I did have a few hiccups after the surgery but his staff was so caring and kind and Dr. Patel contacted me immediately when I called (3 times) no matter what time it was. They never made me feel as if I was a nuisance….which is truly rare. I’m getting better every day and I’m so thankful for him and his wonderful staff.
