She gave us our room but it was on the top floor and my sister is so scared of heights so I had to see if she would give us a room closer to the bottom floor. She didn’t know how to do that I think but someone was coming in to help her with that. When the guy got there they help us get another room. They was friendly and helpful! They were awesome and we loved our stay there on our way home.”

Check in was fast and simple and front desk staff is very friendly. Only downfalls breakfast area is small for seating and there's no elevator if your room is on the second floor.”

“Front desk was very kind and attentive. I had a booking issue through a 3rd party agency but the front desk made my issue theirs and I didn’t have to worry about it because they handled it! So I really appreciate that. I stayed in the King Suite and it was really nice. Only issue was there was some trash left in a drawer but they came and took care of it right away.”

“We rented SunDancer through VRBO and enjoyed our stay with great proximity to hike Old Rag. That said, the place was not cleaned properly before our stay and we were given a partial refund. The kitchen was a bit small to cook for 10, but we made it work! Odd decor in some of the rooms. I don't think we'll return, but enjoyed our stay.”

“The lady at the breakfast area was absolutely wonderful!! My kids loved her and she remembered each time what they liked and it was great to know she actually payed attention when she didn't have to. The front desk worker Tiffany was also wonderful and made check in a wonderful experience , these two ladies have such wonderful customer service. Only downside was after being gone for 2 days we came to find out bathroom trashcan had been knocked down and a end piece of a cigar on our bathroom floor which likely was from the previous person and the room was not cleaned too well. Overall this is a great hotel with great customer service.”

“Thank you to Stevan and staff for helping in removing a charge made by mistake. I had to change to another Hilton location in the same day 20 hours before checking in. They were nice and waved the penalty. Good to see corporate kindness still exists! Note. I did call Hilton honor and they waved the fee in advance but somehow someone dropped the ball and I got charged. But upon calling they reversed it.”

“We have been coming to Candy Hill for many years. Easy off and easy on the highway. Although we mainly use it as a stopover on our way to Florida only staying a day or two, we have stayed longer and have explored the beautiful Winchester area. It is always clean and well maintained. We particularly like the luxury sites with cement pads that have been added in the past few years. They continue to make updates and improvements to their sites and we applaud their efforts. The park has a nice fenced dog area with plenty of “poop bag” stations throughout the park. We have always enjoyed our visits and will definitely return.”

“The staff, they have an important impact on your stay. They are absolutely amazing. Every single one of them! They don’t bother you either, but when you do have an interaction with them, they’re so polite, friendly, and helpful! They always ask if I need anything every time I see them. They’re truly amazing people that work here. The rooms are clean, I’ve even seen the housekeepers clean a room, and the scrub top to bottom, use brand new everything as well! When I first unlocked my door, it smelled wonderful! Like a freshly cleaned house. I love that they have a stove top, and provide dishes!! Never seen a hotel do that besides a simple coffee mug. They also have plenty of storage in the rooms for your belongings. I recommend this place 100%!”

“Really surprised. Usually don't like motels but this place was CLEAN! Kudos to the maids that come through. Staff was friendly and the beds were pretty comfortable. They also provide towels and toiletries which I feel is uncommon for motels. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the the hot water in the shower turned off at one point. Other than that it's a great value for the location and quality.”
