“I enjoyed my camping experience at cedar dam more than any camping I have done in the past through out many states. We stayed in the tin roof camping and I never felt more at home and cozy camping as I did here. Kim and Bruce are amazing hosts. I enjoyed cooking my meals at the fish house and eating them while casting a pole. I caught over 80 fish in 7days. Many were small but it was the fun of the catch for me. I did cook up 6 good size fish in the fish house on the foreman grill after cleaning them on the provided cleaning station, very convenient. Lastly and my favorite part was the bunny patch complete with a HUGE Tommy tomatoe wild grown patch. The tomatoes were so sweet and delicious. The green ones chopped me up a nice green tomatoe dip I enjoyed the day after coming home. And I was reminiscent of my stay at cedar dam as I ate the fresh tomato dip. Wish I was there now.”

“Ii is beautiful out here. Freshwater fishing is fast action for bass and bream. Come prepared for major bloodless do to the over abundance of many different species and sizes of mosquitoes. There are water moccasins and cyotes that I've personally seen. Keep a very close watch on young children and yourself.”

“Went to this park for the first time today. 5 stars. We went to the dog park which is very large and as 3 dedicated spaces; small dog area, large dog area, & agility area. Not much grass, but lots of trees and space to run. Water pump on site, a bit of a walk from parking. There are ball fields, tennis courts, and a few playgrounds as well. All in all a very nice park.”

“Really popular park with many fields for different sports. They have several turf, soccer fields and grass baseball fields. A public restroom, large parking lot, and jungle gym complete the park with something for everyone. Ice cream trucks often stop by in the summer and fall to offer treats right when the sports are over! A great place to play or watch sports.”

“This park and campground are immaculate and the staff is friendly and helpful. We liked the sites because they were spaced out with natural vegetation and trees providing a sense of privacy around each site. The fire pits were clean upon arrival and we noticed the staff actually sweeps out the landing pad area before each guest arrives. A real sense of hospitality welcomed us to this campground. We loved watching the birds each day - especially the pea hens making their rounds of inspection each morning! We'll be back!”
