“I didn’t realize they were opening today. My wife saw an open sign when she was driving home from work. So we had to go. We were some of the only ones in the restaurant, which is very clean and looks nice. They do not have alcohol yet. Looks like they have applied for an ABC license. They have signs posted on the doors. The customer service was good. The food came out within an acceptable amount of time. I ordered the chicken mofongo, pictured below. It was so flavorful. The plantains paired so well with the chicken and onions. It needed a little extra spice, so I added the house made habanero sauce. I would absolutely come back.”

“Our 10 yo son is allergic to nuts, dairy, eggs and wheat. Needless to say finding him food while traveling is difficult and finding him desserts is near impossible. This shopwas recommended to us while we were at the strip and I am so glad we drove out. He got a few day old donuts, which were still excellent, and he finally got to try a donut for the first time. He also got a cookie sandwich that was as big as his head and has been eating it bit by bit. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough. The sweets were so good our entire family enjoyed them and that never happens with his allergen friendly food.”

“The food and service was really great. The place really needs a facelift though. I had the Tuna Bites for appetizer and the 1/2 pound shrimp for my main course meal. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and was so juicy and fresh. The Tuna Bites were really great also. The steamed broccoli for a side was awesome. It was just enough to not feel bloated but filling. “Such a little hole in the wall. I have driven past this place multiple times and never even knew it was there. When you walk inside, it doesn't look like anything special, however, my taste buds were enlightened. These are full sized pupusas and at $2 each a real bargain. The shredded cabbage salad and tomato sauce that accompany the order are also good.
