“January 4, 2023 - 1st time rating ( if I could, I would) give 10 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Driving south from Maine, on a 2,000 mile road trip . . . When our car dash board lit up like a Christmas tree. Oil check light, ABS light, traction control light, on & on . . . We contacted a Virginia friend for lodging and a GOOD Mechanic! Our friend called Chris, her connection to Harris Garage in Hayes, VA. . . Without an appointment, Chris said , “ We’ll take a look!” The problem was a check value, and a few other items that required parts. Chris ordered the parts said it would be a day, after the parts arrived. We phoned ahead and canceled our B & B reservation in South Carolina. . . Thinking car troubles would delay our trip south. Oh well, that’s a curveball in Life. To our surprise, Chris called the next day, and said, “ Your car is fixed, ready to pick up!” Damn fast! What a surprise! We picked up the car, and started driving to Charleston, South Carolina . . . in time for our B & B reservation! This is an amazing organization, and I personally met the owner, Michael Harris, and Chris at 5:05 pm (technically the shop was closed) . . . I thanked them for their fantastic customer service & last minute emergency repairs on my Subaru! I can’t say enough how impressive they treated strangers from a distant state, traveling through Virginia who encountered car troubles. Anytime if these folks travel to Maine, I will treat them to beer 🍺 & lobsters! 🦞 on me ! Thank you gentlemen! Harris Garage is family owned, which opened in the 1940’s by Michael’s Grandfather! The officer in question works for Eastville PD which is separate from the sheriff's office. Also, I've found that the police here are very respectful and if you don't want a ticket, don't speed.”

“He called us since our landlord called him, Aaron came out within 10 mins of the call. Our outside water spigot broke off and we had to turn off the water to the whole house last night. He capped it, said he could come by next week to replace the pipe, spigot, and add a turn off valve to it, for $125! No one else would come out til next week or so, and charged $89 or more to come out sooner under emergency services. My research said it would cost anywhere from $100-$500 for this. Since we accidentally broke it, landlord would not pay to repair it. So $125 is the best deal. So far so good! Finally we were not getting taken advantage of! He was also nice, and honest. We asked for a price on another kind of faucet, he said it would cost a lot more and could freeze. He could have said yes it's better in order to make more money, but he didn't. If you had a bad experience year's ago with him try again, maybe he was having a bad time. He came out years ago for our landlord to do plumbing work under our house and check a leak inside, At that time I felt he was in a bad mood, not friendly then, but that's not the case now. I chalk it up to maybe going through some personal stuff back then. We are going to update this review after he comes out and replaces everything too. Reviews are important not just for the business, but to help out your fellow " neighbors" to pick the best company and not get ripped off. So review businesses.”

“Anna is a phenomenal massage therapist who brings professional training and a beautiful compassionate nature to every session. You can tell she truly enjoys helping people feel better through the different massage techniques she utilizes. Severe neck pain drove me to find a good massage. But when I read that Anna's approach is more gentle physical therapy, I chose to start treatment with her rather than pay for a "spa package." I've not regretted that decision one bit. After listening to my concerns, she assessed my posture, took in what I thought to be the inciting incident, and gave me the option to choose how much additional information I would like receive in order to assist myself between and beyond the sessions. In extreme pain that first day and lacking sleep, I told her to share anything and everything. I'm glad I did. Anna creates a safe, nonjudgmental, and serene environment. It is the first place I have felt a sense of peace while trying to rehab my body. I feel listened to, supported, and physically aided by every session. I will continue to be a client of Anna's. I highly recommend her.”
