Dr. Wendy has been great for our aging pup who has had 2 TPLOs and a torn meniscus. She has helped improve his core strength, mobility and my dog truly loves the PEMS laser. After every visit she sends us videos of the exercisesy so we can readily do them at home. Best of all our dog loves going to Dr. Wendy! As soon as we say her name he’s at the door. Thank you Wendy and team!

Dr Wendy is a compassionate, kind and incredibly bright veterinarian. She’s also imaginative, coming up with ideas and exercises to best help our 13 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She’s an excellent guest speaker as well. We invited her to discuss additional care and rehab at our mini expo in 2019 for horse lovers - many of whom own working and trail dogs. She’s committed and passionate about her abilities to care for and improve the quality of life for her clients pets.

My dog loves seeing Dr. Wendy Bernstein at Go Dog Go! My dog is almost 15 and has had numerous issues affecting her mobility, including vestibular episodes, muscle weakness, arthritis and spine degeneration. After a couple sessions here and doing our exercises at home, my dog has more spring in her step, and even started jumping on the couch again. You can tell she is just happier and more active. Wendy is so knowledgeable when it comes to canine physical therapy and dogs in general, and you can tell she enjoys what she does. My dog loves seeing her and her assistants, and will pull me the whole way to her door. Our exercises that Wendy assigns us at home have also been a great bonding experience and my dog enjoys them and gains confidence while doing them.

I highly recommend Dr Wendy Bernstein. If I could, I would rate 10 out of 5 stars! She is a dedicated professional canine rehabilitation specialist and veterinarian who has helped my dog Shalee and I very much. In addition to a custom treatment program for Shalee, she provides take home exercises and tips for me. And Shalee LOVES going to see her!

Shalee suffered a spinal disc rupture December 2018 and became paraplegic. I started seeing Dr Wendy in May 2019 and she developed a program to strengthen and support all of Shalee. For example, there are exercises to help her torso, sides, and front legs as well as work with her paralyzed back legs. She developed a custom box to stabilize her hind end during exercises. She has many other tools to help with inflammation and pain and to encourage healing.

More and more of Shalee’s body below the injury is rehabilitating in some way. Nerve connections and workarounds are happening. I believe this is 100% due to Dr Wendy’s work with her. While she may never regain normal mobility, she is a healthy, strong, and active dog in her own way.

Dr. Wendy has helped our Chihuahua mix get back to his old self after back surgery. He was dragging a leg a bit 2 months after the surgery and had no stamina on walks. Now he has never walked better!
Her excitement and passion to help Zuko was obvious the moment we met. She has all kinds of ideas and progresses slowly, giving us easy "homework" to help strengthen his legs. She went above and beyond calling a doctor in Texas from where we adopted him and found out more about a previous injury we didn't know he had before he was with us!
And Zuko obviously loves to go to therapy. We arrive and he zips around the room like crazy. I am so glad we found Dr. Wendy for our pup.
