The optometrist was careful and thorough. As for the frames, I was able to easily decide on frames and I loved the fact the the costs were shown on each pair of glasses unlike most places I've shopped. Sloan was a delight to work with! All together the type of great experience, quality and savings that Costco always delivers.
Super friendly staff. Answered the call on about the 3rd ring. Maybe others are trying to call the independent optometrist that works in Costco?
Their prices are VERY reasonable. Getting a pair of designer frames and lenses with all of the coatings that other places charge anywhere from $75-100 for each coating like the anti glare, blue light etc. Costco includes those at no extra charge! I got an entire pair of glasses for about $200 including a designer frame.
I would highly recommend going to Costco to get a pair of glasses or contacts.
Have used the Optical Dept at Costco for about 15 years, and always received efficient and friendly service. The glasses have been well-made, and when I had a problem with one frame, they quickly repaired it. Some reviewers seem to be confusing this service with the optometrist (eye doctor) that is in the store but not operated by Costco.

Does quality work. Quality eyeglass selection. At Costco, you have lower pressure to either buy frames and glasses, and different levels of quality to Rude people. They can't be bothered to have a number system, like every other Costco Vision Center has so you have to stand in line and waste your time.
