  We had shades installed by Wessco today. So very happy we chose this company. Professional and quick process from beginning to installation. The employee that did the install was so amazing. Don’t waste your time with another company, support this family owned business. You won’t be sorry!

  It’s not often I feel compelled to write a review. The experience has to be either really bad or really great. Wessco lands at the really great end of the spectrum!
  
  We just finished remodeling a house and needed new window coverings. We shopped around and found the folks at Wessco to be the most helpful and knowledgeable. They came to our house with their samples to show us our different color options and blind/shade types. We opted for roller shades on our first floor where our living area is and cellular up/down shades upstairs where our bedrooms are.
  
  They saved us from choosing the wrong color in our bedrooms and also advised us on the proper open percentage to choose for our roller shades. They were even able to add some custom touches to our blinds from the factory due to their close relationship with Hunter Douglas. Installation was quick, professional, and painless. Lance even fixed a few things that I would have never noticed, but he said he’d never want a client noticing something minor wrong even a few years down the line, so he made sure everything was perfect.
  
  Our new blinds and shades look amazing and are the perfect compliment to our house. Our favorite feature is the remote control and automated motorization of the up/down cellular shades in our master bedroom. We have 10 windows in our bedroom, so going around and adjusting them every morning and evening would be a pain. (I know...we’re spoiled.) Lance helped set them up to open automatically in the morning, just from the top down, so we still have privacy, but can still see out. Later in the morning, they open all the way. This happens again automatically at one hour after sunset and then they close all the way before we go to bed. So nice!

  We were dealing with a room full of old, cheap blinds and shades at the end of their life and I'm glad I found these folks. Although they cost more, the quality of the blinds/shades themselves is head and shoulders above what's available at DIY retail. This was immediately apparent as soon as the installation was complete.
  At every point of contact (initial trip to showroom, home measurements, email exchanges, installation) every single person we dealt with in the process was really nice, skilled in their role, and had an excellent customer focus. Will definitely use them again if the need arises. Strong recommend!

  I wanted to explore changing my pleated shades for automatic cellular shades and went to the top of the industry, Hunter Douglas, and the exclusive distributor in Seattle is Wessco Blinds. I called to schedule an appointment with Lance, co-owner with wife, Amy Nelson, and he measured and brought samples for cellular shades. Lance used the latest laser technology to get accurate window measurements and helped select possible colors that might work. Later we visited their newly remodeled showroom and changed the cellular color thanks to their excellent displays.
  
  As my husband and I age, we don't like closing all 15 shades in our house in the winter evenings to preserve household heat, but we did. We explored ordering the battery operated cellular blinds and for 15 windows using 12 AA batteries for each blind we calculated we'd spend a fortune annually replacing the batteries. Knowing we had a remodel in the works for ½ of the windows we reduced our order from 15 to 7 cellular shades. When David, the installer for Wessco Blinds, installed the shades he mentioned that when we do our remodel we should have the electrician run direct current electricity to the battery operated cellular shades and then all would be on electric. David was a fantastic installer and gave great instructions on operating our fun new automatic shades.
  
  One BIG recommendation that I have for Wessco Blinds is to put their phone number on their quote/bid/order sheet. And, pass out business cards. I spent too much time looking up Wessco Blinds on the internet to get their phone number. I still don't have it! But, I'm a happy customer.
