“Had no line when i showed up on a sunday morning at 8 am. Quickly got an espresso and pastry. People were friendly and they were well staffed for a rush. I saw three bike racks, though there might be more that I didn't notice. It's close to the 520 trail so makes for a nice refueling spot on rides across the bridge.”

“More of a cafe than a bakery, but awesome none-the-less. I love their Como loaf, it’s almost buttery in taste like a Sourdough. They have a bunch of seats, but people tend to stay a while. Is a little pricey, but that’s a fresh food restaurant in Seattle for ya.”

“One of my personal favorite coffee shops. It's so quaint and cozy and the staff are always very friendly, you can tell they truly enjoy working there. They keep you engaged in conversation when/if you want to be, and know when to be politely quiet for those that don't enjoy being engaged in conversation as often. The inside has a few seats in front of the window for street-view people watching. I suggest sitting outside on the patio; there's heat lamps and a little window that they use to call your order out. It's more spacious on the patio and very cute”

“Talk about velvet foam! I really enjoyed my lattes from Uptown Espresso during my visit to Seattle. Not to mention it was just a short walk from my hotel which was super convenient. The pastries were also really delicious. The prices seemed comparable for the area. I wish we had a place like this in my hometown.”

“Incredibly helpful! I even mentioned the prices were higher but the customer service was worth it. Without me even asking, the cashier looked up the price at a competing store and matched the price! Definitely coming back”

“Great shop. I used to work for the corporate office of a large Seattle-based coffee company, and I’m moderately picky about my coffee shops. This place is awesome. Great coffee. Friendly staff, good gluten free options for snacks, awesome music, cool art. I really like this place and will come back whenever I’m in the area.”

“Offered me a receipt, but I turned it down. I don't need the evidence held against me when I get home. They got my order correct. It was quick and painless, the way a drive through order should be.”

“Love the people. The food is excellent. I try to eat here once a week. The same everytime; 2 eggs over easy, bacon, fruit and a gargantuan muffin... Perfection!”

“This is the coziest nook in West Seattle. Right across from Downtown overlooking Elliott Bay is this gem. They have such a friendly staff and serve chocolate covered coffee beans on your beverages as they come out! I'm partial to a chai tea latte and they've gotten their formula down pat. So delicious!”

“This place is exactly what we look for in breakfast spot when we've only got a couple minutes to eat, but don't want fast food. It's located across the parking lot from the waterfront Marriott it was the perfect place to grab something unique and delicious to go! The Opla, basically a very fancy skillet, is a Vietnamese dish that combines runny eggs, meat and some veggies in a delightful little skillet! When you walk in, you're greeted by a small counter, seating for about 20 people and some pictures of the options on the wall. Everything looks incredibly advertising and I'm happy to report the actual food matched the The picturesque expectations! They have half a dozen different options which are all variations on the meat or accompanying protein. We tried the Vietnamese version which included eggs, grilled pork, meatballs and some pickled veggies. Everything is served with a really delicious baguette and by the time we were done, we were all planning on how we could try another one! Different variations include, as expected, different meats and veggies from different regions of the world. They also serve Bahn Mi, which I’m excited to go back and try for lunch someday! This place is a great little spot that’s right down on the waterfront and will introduce you to a dish that you probably haven’t tried before, but that you almost assuredly will love!”

“My wife and I dropped in for a mid day snack, and we're pleasantly surprised with a sleek modern cafe. I really appreciate the design of this place. If I lived by I would come here to get some work done. The coffee and tea were great. Most places have either a week watery cold brew, but this place was rich and deep. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking good coffee.”

“I was trying to intercept a package that was going to be delivered to my home too late forme as I was catching a plane that same day, and the lady at the desk called the mailman who was carrying the package and asked him to meet me half way his route to hand the package over to me. These guys just made my day!”

“Everything you need in a local bar you can find here! Great food, live music on the weekends, cocktails, draft beers, ciders, you name it. A lot of drink options that you won’t find at other bars in the area. Jacqui and her staff are fantastic. They always make you feel right at home. If you’re just stopping by or hosting an part, you are ALWAYS in good hands at natural law.”
