“I love this clinic. First of all, I appreciate that it is a cat dedicated space. While I love dogs and all animals, it can be really stressful for a cat to sit in the waiting room next to dogs and I appreciate them not having to go through that. Which leads me to the next thing I love about this place: usually when you arrive, you are escorted into a room with your kitties and they get time to decompress in a quiet space. You don’t hang out in the waiting room for even a minute! But what I love most (aside from the decor, the obvious love for cats, how quickly they answer any calls and emails, the lovely staff at the front desk and the cute cat decor…) is that they truly care for the cats and are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The vet always spends a lot of time with us, explaining everything and going in to detail about why she is doing things. They take the time to listen and will guide you so you can do what’s best for your kitties. Thank you for always taking care of us! 💚”

Then the cafe was sold to an inexperienced immigrant that tried hard but didn’t really understand the needs of such a business. He sold it to a Korean person who thought he could specialize in his ethnic fare but it was a bad idea and the entire environment was abandoned and everything crashed. No surprise. Such a great concept and first class service that made the CAVU popular lost forever. Thank you Jim Turcott of PDS Engineering for giving us this great little cafe to begin with. It's comfortable and stylish, and a lovely place to have a quiet coffee. I haven't tried the food here, but the coffee is quality (in the opinion of this coffee snob 😉), the staff are welcoming and kind, service is fast, and they do the best Pup Cups! (Be sure to tip well if you get one of these, cos they are generous) There's drive-through service, a small amount of parking directly behind it, there's a group room on the main level, and I think there's even office space or group rooms for rent upstairs (but check with them, obv, in case that's ceased)”

“Finally, I found a truly “off-road” mobility machine! I think the EZ Raider is the next big thing; the large tires seem impossible to get stuck, plenty of torque to get up huge hills with ease, and the best suspension system I’ve experienced for traveling over rocky terrain. I’ve owned and ridden many e-bikes, e-scooters, etc. and this awesome thing is in a class of it’s own! The look and feel is aggressive, and the range is much more than adequate for anything I need. This can easily tackle the brutal, PNW terrain and it’s still a blast to take on asphalt, or across the dunes of the desert. I’ve been checking out some accessories and looking at what to buy next. If you’re into EV’s or the outdoors, I highly recommend grabbing one of these, be safe and have fun!”
