In many restaurants and cafes menu items like grits and biscuits tend to miss the mark. Glad to find this place fit the bill pretty well. “What a great cafe in the middle of Southport (Renton) specializing in french cuisine I have yet to find anything on the menu that isn't extraordinary! It's a nice intimate and close environment that provides for great conversation and experiences. Our server Julie was very knowledgeable and very attentive. “Authenticity warms my heart. Loved the entire experience. You are greeted with a feel as if you just stepped into the door of your abuelas house. Chips and the best salsa I have had thus far in Seattle. I had the fresh margarita which made the bike ride home fun. The chimichanga with picadillo was delicious. I had more than enough food with half a chimichanga to go home. I tried the flan for dessert and again its the authenticity for me. It wasn’t the prettiest flan but definitely made from the heart. Most of all I loved the music which completed the vibe. I’ll definitely be returning to try more from the menu.”

“My friend and I went to Anthony's for brunch. He ordered the Eggs Benedict and I had the San Juan Scramble. The portions were smaller than I'm used to, but they were perfect since I didn't have to take anything home. The eggs were flavor-blasted but not overbearing, which was an interesting and pleasing combination. The coffee was delicious and my friend was pleased with his Eggs Benedict. The coffee cake was half crumble on top and half cake on the bottom. If that number can be shifted to 2/3 cake and 1/3 crumble, that would be a great improvement. Otherwise, it is a good mass produced coffee cake. The view of the Marina was nice. The server was very responsive and respectful. The rest of the serving staff was also nice and helpful. Overall, there is a clear threshold between fine dining and regular dining. Anthony's blew me away and I would recommend to anyone looking to have brunch with a friend or family.”

“Great for cyclists. They've got bike racks that are mostly intelligently designed. The one criticism that I can give is that they are too close to each other. Each upsidedown U bike rack should hold 2 bikes each. The way that these are laid out, only 3 could fit on them. I really appreciate the inside seating facing out toward the bike rack as seen in my photo. Why do I need to my bike to be visible while I eat? Because it only takes about 25 seconds for someone with an angle grinder to walk up confidently and cut my $120 bike lock off with the highest bike lock security rating in the world. Why am I giving 5 stars instead of 4 stars? Because most places in all of North American are terrible for bike friendliness. Credit where credit is due.”

“Loved this visit! A quaint little building from the outside with lots of room on the inside, boasting fun local decor. Parking lot is a little tight but also has street parking. Our waitress was fun and provided quick service. My favorite items were the calamari fries and the clam chowder in the bread bowl! The chowder is creamy with generous amount of clam, the bread is soft and soaks up nicely, and the calamari fries were perfectly cooked and tangy with the sauce. I liked the Apple crisp overall, it was great paired with the ice cream. I would come back again here in the future!”

“Passed by this place many times, and decided on June 9, 2022 to try the place out when my daughter decided to do her hair at a nearby location. Place is located in a small roadside “mall” area where the largest tenant is a shell station. Area is not big, played a very good selection of music (80-90s rock/pop) over the comm system (unusual for these types of eateries normally). The drink dispensing machine is located in the immediate right after entry catering mostly Coca Cola products. There are tables/chairs on the right side stretching back, and the food processing area is located on the left side. Seating furniture is bar stool height (Unusual), and the overall atmosphere is very chill. There are daily specials, which includes select menu items with a small fry and a drink, priced 50 cents less than if purchased seperately. Daughter ordered the Western cheeseburger, and I ordered a hamburger, both grilled. Buns were slightly toasted – a big plus for me since this helps burger from easily falling apart. Sides included a large crinkle fry and a large fried zucchini to share between us. Daughter added a small strawberry shake to her meal. To test the taste of burgers, I tend to order the simplest burger. If the meat (with condiments - tomato and shredded lettuce. Unsure if there are onions since I could not taste it.) is good, everything else is just added bonuses. After comparing notes, my daughter and I concluded that the burgers were average. Daughter indicated the bacon in her burger was excellent however. Both the fries and zucchini portions were good, the fries were nicely overfilled in the paper container. Came with fry sauce, and ranch dressing for the zucchini – both were good. Both items held out well on the trip home, meaning they did not turn soggy when we ate them about 10 minutes later. Overall, we rated the meal 6-7 stars out of 10. We shall consider the place again just to validate our ratings and likely try out the other offerings to discover if the other topping offerings will elevate the burgers further. Both staff (Maybe one the owner?) were pleasant and welcoming. Comparing with nearby burger places, Han's has a slightly tastier burger though the bun is not toasted; the latest crinkle fry batches were disappointing – lesser quality fries used giving the small end pieces and uneven sizes though they are usually fried well; Burger Express still provides the better burger of all, and the fresh cut fries are always good except after they've cooled down (Suggest you eat there for best taste.) but can taste a little greasy sometimes.”

And while I wouldn't exactly call Red Robin fast food they do serve hamburgers and more importantly they're one of my grandsons favorites. His order is the same every time, two kids cheeseburgers plain with steak fries and a coke. We've kind of made it a habit to eat there once a week, or rather we get something for him and take it home. I just want to say that even though our order is a small one the people working there are always courteous and friendly. They make you feel like you're one of their best customers. “Nice and filling. Smoked fish is amazing and keeps well for breakfast with toast the next day. Poke is also extremely affordable and flavourful.
