“My child did the etiquette course as an after school option. This ranged from basic manners like shaking hands and introductions to hosting a party! What the Grasshopper team did best was to make it fun - by the time the kids were hosting their party for us parents, they were all having a blast, all while practicing their manners (I was very tickled by my son making "small talk" during the meal). Though I think the most important thing about sending your child to a class like this is that you are sending the message that manners matter, and that people take them seriously! Susan gives an awesome review of each week's class (what an effort!) that made it clear to me what was happening in class and she was graciousness personified.”

“We are starting our third year with Bothell Family Co-op and have loved it here. My daughter started when she was 18 months. They have a parent baby class for kiddos younger than one and classes go up through pre-k. It is a commitment to be a part of co-op but the community and quality of education for myself and my daughter has been well worth it!”

“We recently just became a member of the club. Nice facility. Lots of tennis courts. Sometimes can be hard to reserve if you don't reserve 2-3 days in advance. Heard a lot of great things about their Junior programs but will take a while for us to see if that's true. Looking forward to post covid so we can actually meet some people and make friends there...They could've paid more attention to the new members that joined during Covid, but I understand the limitations.”

“My child has been enjoying his time at this school. He started as a toddler and the quality of care provided was incredible. Ms Deepa is an outstanding teacher, she puts in lots of effort to set up lessons for the kids. She is also easy to talk to and trustworthy. Overall a nurturing and enriching experience for my child.”

“Fun school! I used to go here and I definitely enjoyed it. Most teachers are nice. The community is decent. My only complaint really is how some of the students are taught. Other than that, the school is awesome.”

“I went to that school in 2008 & 2009. And we lived on Apartment 25 on 23rd St Southeast. And there was snow that had hit in 2008 & 2009. The school was closed due to the winter storm. I love the memories that I had from 2008 & 2009.”

“My elementary school was good, and it set the bar pretty high. This school sent that bar to space. Great staff, challenging curriculum, and legendary sports teams. Can't wait to see if Kentwood can raise it even higher in a year or two.”

“As a former student with more than three years' worth of tutelage from her, Mrs. Sica is one of the finest piano teachers in the Pacific Northwest, and maybe even the U.S. Her teaching is extremely rigorous and she expects diligent practice, but the material--whether it be in the form of comments, corrections, analogies or jokes--is guaranteed to stick to the memory like glue. That goes for all age groups and experience levels. She's critical but understanding, tough but merciful, and you're sure to have some fun along the way. Overall, I would "one hundred percent" recommend her.”

“I've always wanted to learn guitar and so a few years ago I bought 4 lessons from Ben from a Charity auction. Ben is the real deal and if you want to learn guitar I highly recommend him. Not only did I learn a lot from Ben but he really makes it fun to learn!”

“We had a very good experience with preschool staff in Emily Dickinson-Redmond and I would like to say thank you to Ms.Aliki , Ms.Gabi and Ms Cici for the big support to our kiddo and u can tell they love all their students and they take care of all of them with respecting all student’s families. I wish all the teachers like you You deserves the best”

“A friendly neighborhood school. We have found the teachers and staff to be caring and good at what they do. My only wish is they had made the school a little larger during the rebuild. They re-purpose the gym for the cafeteria, for example, but with a little more foresight I think the space could have been use more wisely. For a town growing as quickly as Redmond is, LWSD needs to think ahead and the tax payers need to be willing to fund schools that meet the need 15-20 years down the road.”

“Did not go to school here but I attended a caucus here. We sat in the lunch room which was. Nicely decorated and I couldn't help remark to my boyfriend that I wish my middle school had been thunder mountain.”

“We left the area permanently in April 2022. Otherwise, Discovery Center Child Care would've been our only choice. We started to send our son here in September 2019, and in July 2021 our daughter too. Nothing could've been better with the place. The teachers are caring and detail oriented, and we receive feedback about the kids from time to time. The kids love going there. They are brought outside when the weather permits, and we get to see the videos. Indoors, they work on interesting art, scientific, and kitchen projects. The curriculum is so rich that I find it hard to enumerate completely. The bottom line is, the kids really love it and we see their amazing growth over time. My son's potty training went well when he turned 3. At home we followed the teachers' guidance to extend the training. The process was not easy, but the teachers' patience made it much less challenging. We'd definitely recommend this place.”
