“This was an amazing place to volunteer. The facility was clean. The volunteers were caring and ready to lend a hand. It has been years since I have been here but if I had the time I would volunteer again in a heartbeat. The horses are so kind and very well trained. This is a place for smiles and healing. I do remember it being very cold during the fall and winter months so bundle up and bring tissues for those long cold walks.”

“I hesitate to share my review of this home on AMI as I don’t want the secret to get out! This was our second stay at Wine Down and we love this home. Well appointed interiors and outdoor spaces lend to a beautiful, comfortable home away from home. The master suite overlooks the pristine beach and gulf. Beds, bathrooms, furnishings are comfy and spacious. They maintain the property well which is often missing in rental homes. Best of all, you are 25 steps to a perfect sand beach and the lull of the ocean.”

“This park is the best in park in Seattle. From it's various trails to the fields, meadows, and it's beach (hike to beach has a substantial elevation loss/gain) it truly is Seattle's best. Parking at beach requires a permit available at the visitor's available only to disabled, seniors 62+, and those with children 7 and under. Weekends from Memorial day weekend through Labor weekend and on those two holidays a beach shuttle is available from 10:00 Am, with the last shuttle leaving the beach at 5:30 pm at least as of the summer of 2019. Absolutely worth the visit.”

“Our time here was so pleasant - the place is small, but functional, and very clean. On arrival, there was a fresh pack of coffee beans in the freezer - nice touch, fresh coffee every morning. The fresh eggs and vegetables were very welcome, and the non-intrusive management was responsive to all needs. Just chill, and enjoy the birds on the seed feeder outside the bedroom window waking you up in the morning, and the deer in the field to the north nibbling on grass in the evening. #fidofriendly but be aware that the perimeter is not secure...”
