“I lived at REV between 2015 and 2021. The property sits on the Ballard-Fremont line and is surrounded by condos and single-family dwellings. This location provides convenient access to local bars, coffee shops, nightlife/entertainment, grocery store, jogging trails, community parks and delivery services and allows you to return home to a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The building is under new ownership as of 2019. The pros and cons are as follows: Pros: Enhanced security: Higher watt lighting in the lobby and Amazon locker Quiet and relaxed atmosphere: The neighbors in and around the building are nice and respectful. Most are young professionals who work traditional daytime hours. Transportation: The 40 and the 28X run along Leary Way every 5-to-10 minutes during peak commute times. They'll get you just about anywhere you need to get to in the city. Running/Fitness: There is a good mix of running routes nearby including the Burke Gillman Trail, flat straight segments, narrow-to-steep hills back in the neighborhoods, etc. There are also quite a few gym options in Ballard and Fremont. Rent hikes were a modest $20-$40/year. Cons: Security: Even with enhanced security, the property is subjected to many break-in. I estimate 3-to-4 per year. This is generally attributed to thieves, but occasionally tenants acting irresponsibly (i.e., leaving front door open). Most break-ins occur in the lobby (stolen packages) and garage (vehicle break-ins). No residents have been harmed to my knowledge, but there has been squatting in vacant apartments and one apartment door kicked in. No amenities: The marketed amenities include free grocery delivery and a outdoor common space with lounge chairs and a gas grill. No onsite property manager. Packages not delivered to the Amazon locker or mailbox are left on the lobby floor. Trash room: The room is poorly designed with some-to-no ventilation. This can create some interesting odors in the summer. Aside from odor, it has become common for the trash/recycling company skip the building. Ownership is attempting to mitigate this by increasing the frequency of trash pickups. The tenants will eat this cost. Maintenance: Maintenance has taken a nosedive since the building has come under new ownership. The previous owner subcontracted their maintenance with the University of Washington who was very responsive. In the past year I have had a faulty smoke detector, broken mailbox, cabinetry that has become unglued, and mold/algae growth on the exterior that has eaten through to the baseboards in my bedroom. Each of these items remains unresolved due in part to the ongoing pandemic.”

They’re customer service is very amazing, whilst waiting I was talking to one of the people over here and they kept me busy whilst waiting for the job to be done. “Dr. Kevin is an amazing chiropractor in the Renton Highland area. He is very thorough in providing treatment for my injury from the previous car accidents that I've had. He's very knowledgeable in his field and spent more time with me than any other clinic around. It helps a lot when he spends time doing therapeutic exercises and work on my muscles with his adjustments. Thank you for the amazing care, Dr. Kevin!”

“Great BBQ! I’m consider myself a good cook and great backyard pit master. I typically don’t eat BBQ out because my BBQ is better than most places. It’s not better than Jack’s. The brisket was tender and moist with just the right amount of smoke. The pork ribs were meaty and delicious. If you like BBQ you need to check this place out.”

“I value Ada's opinion and somehow she always knows how to give it to me straight with a great deal of warmth and compassion--quite a skill and not an easy one to come by! Ada has a vast clinical knowledge AND she is also approachable--also a rare and precious gift. She genuinely cares for people and true to the title of her practice, she has a heart for helping others to bloom in remarkable ways!”

“One of the best gas station stores I've ever been to. Not only is the staff friendly, but they have an absolutely amazing beer selection. It's a hidden gem. They carry very hard to find beers of all kinds as well as offering growler fills on rotating taps. Even if you don't need to gas up your vehicle, I highly suggest swinging by here to check out their beer!”

“Naive is wonderful at hair extensions in Seattle. I never had hand tied weft hair extensions before and was hesitant about the results but so far, they're amazing. They don't fall out or pull my hair and they look p4ofessional. Naive was very professional and covid safe. Her salon was clean and my weft extensions are look fab. I'd suggest Naive for hair extensions in Seattle, she does all kinds”
