“I've been taking voice lessons with my teacher. She is an awesome teacher and a great singer. I was a little nervous to take voice lessons (having never really sang before) but she made me feel very comfortable and was super helpful and supportive.”

“Steve Perry is the best of the best at Ben Bridge! My partner and I are living in Mexico while planning a wedding in Seattle, WA. We have been working with short timelines and quick visits to Washington/Oregon to prepare. We started our engagement ring search virtually and narrowed down our favorite options, which were available at Ben Bridge Tacoma and Tiffany's Seattle. Ben Bridge quickly became our preferred option due to Steve's swift email responses and the availability of unique beautiful ruby rings (part of the 2021 Kaleidoscope Collection) - which we could not find anywhere else. Our experience was made even better once we met Steve in person at Ben Bridge Tacoma. He had diligently prepared the selection of rings that I requested via email (all rings were at different locations initially) and he was organized, sociable, and professional. We are not familiar with rings or sizing at all, and found Steve's approach very welcoming, educational, and delivered with great ease - absolutely no pressure involved. This was a contrast to our experience at other jewelry stores and with other agents. Once we found our perfect rings at Ben Bridge, Steve continued to be a fabulous help by engraving and resizing the rings in a timely manner. He worked around our schedules and delivered exactly what we needed from each interaction and visit. Finally, Steve is just a great guy, very friendly, an excellent conversationalist with all, and not to mention dresses in cool suits and ties! Highly recommend Steve Perry to help with engagement rings or any jewelry needs!”

“The manager on duty SINGLE handedly saved this post. She remade my plate, added two egg rolls, & ensured that my next meal was taken care of!!! That is how you manage!!! Panda Express needs to give their people a raise! I was extremely HANGRY after arriving home with no entrées... Their customer service blows Domino's out of the water (main post dominos). The farthest I've seen them go is adding a credit, while never going above & beyond like Panda did tonight! Shoutout to management team! 🙌🏼”

“After looking for my car keys for hours I gave up and called the dealer whom quoted me a ridiculous price for 1 key. I also would have had to tow the car to them. I then found this company and not only was their price significantly less than the dealership but they also go to you! The locksmith technician showed up within 30 minutes of my call. I was very pleased they got to me so fast! Within 15 minutes of his arrival he had my new key and I was all set. He was very friendly and informative as well! Super appreciative of these guys help today!”

“The only taqueria in Tacoma where they cook Al Pastor on a trompo. Cash only, the tacos are $4 each, there’s no sign on the business, and they are totally out of f#cks, but it all kinda adds to the charm of the place. Recommended!”

“Place was busy on a Saturday night. Found a seat by the patio. Food was good, our server was super sweet. Handling her tables like a boss. We had a fish sandwich and fish and chips(sub salad). Saw the menu online and really wanted the Chowder but they were out. Definitely gonna check this place out again, we enjoyed ourselves and the vibe here. Update: 7/22 we stopped by mid afternoon, they DID have the chowder available. It was pretty good, I’d give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It was served in a bread bowl(they have different options), which is the way I prefer. Still a great experience. The server who helped us was very engaging and fun. You should check this little gem 💎 out if you haven’t!”

“If you're wanting to learn an authentic and traditional martial arts practice that will challenge you to be the best version of yourself possible, this is the place. I knew that there was a lot of "Americanized" practices out there when I began my research. I was looking for a martial arts practice that I could advance in physically when I reached out to Master Han in March, but I also wanted a traditional practice, and one that allowed me to strengthen my energy. I had already experienced a lot of death in my family (I think by this time we had already lost 8 loved ones), and I was searching for a way to feel better connected to my body. At the same time, I wanted to realize a lot of goals that I had for myself that up until then I had only talked about. I had done some research of other martial arts practices in the area, but was not impressed with the amount of ego and toxic masculinity that other establishments seemed to lead with. I found Master Han's website for Hapkido Yongsulkwan, and loved what I read. It was exactly what I was looking for. I called to see about joining, and Master Han invited me to come watch a practice. Everyone was so inviting, and the environment was clean and peaceful. I loved the energy. I joined immediately. When I became a practitioner of Hapkido and disciple of Master Han, I gained much more than what I thought was possible from a martial arts practice. Of course I became stronger physically, and was able to challenge my body in ways I didn't know I was capable of, but I also realized the magnitude of my mental fortitude. It was the best decision I ever made. Not only did it help me cope tremendously with the passing of more family members after joining, but it provided a safe outlet for me to channel my energy, wash away the stressors of daily life, and allow me to care for myself in a healthy way. This practice has also allowed me to grow as a person, and has strengthened me emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It truly is a martial art that requires a holistic approach, incredible self-discipline, self-awareness; and connectedness to oneself in body, mind, and spirit. I often leave practice feeling humbled and grounded, grateful for the words of wisdom that Master Han generously shares as he teaches. Master Han is incredibly gifted, patient, and wise. I could not have asked for a greater teacher. Later after joining his doju, I learned that he received his teachings from Kim Yun Sang, the 3rd Dojunim of this martial art. What an honor it has been to learn from one of the original disciples of such a great legend. He shares more of his story in his blog on the website, which I found truly fascinating. Master Han deserves more credit than he is given. I am forever grateful for the lessons and teachings he has passed down to me, and honored to be his student.”

“If anyone is looking for daycare centers, DO NOT GO TO ALICE’S PRECIOUS JEWELS. My daughter went there this past week, and she came home with scratches on her stomach, one side of her face was VERY red, like someone slapped her, and they were not giving her her daily medication. She was coming home VERY distraught, wasn’t playful like she usually is, and just didn’t seem like the baby I had a week ago. When I asked about the medication, they told me “She’s too high needs and we can’t keep up with giving her meds.” This center has already been reported to the abuse number I was given by the state. But please, if you want someone to love and care for your children, do not take them to this daycare! (This is cross posted from a fb page, who didn’t feel comfortable saying anything publicly. #Save our babies #speak up)”

“With the sad loss of Aloha Oasis on 6th - Anita's is THE place for your authentic Island items. They carry leis - fresh and fabric. NOTE: like many things these days, you must get your leis far in advance, order in advance - call the shop and check with them. It is hard to even get a Ti Leaf lei - which I have never had an issue with before. Huge selection of clothes at great prices. The staff is good - knowledgeable and friendly. Do note that if you call, they may not answer with the name of the store. I called and they just said, "Hello" and waited...I had to ask if I'd called the shop.”
