“Nice little neighborhood park. It was pretty muddy in spots (January). There are some little trails in the neighborhood around the park.”

“Love this park, down fall parking lot is very small. Goes both directions great for less people, but if you drive there and might have to wait awhile for a spot. Ranger is amazing.”

“This is a great park with lots of green space surrounding the main play areas. It seems to be located in the middle of a neighborhood, so the street wasn’t all that busy when we were there. This park is a great outdoor space for people of all ages and interests. There are 2 main play structures — one taller and one shorter, possibly for younger kids. There are 2 toddler swings and 2 regular swings on 2 separate swing sets on opposite sides of the play area. There is a walking path that is lined intermittently with exercise equipment, a basketball court, a baseball diamond, and a skate park down the hill from the play structures. There is also a covered eating area with a fire place and multiple uncovered picnic areas with grills.”

“My favorite place to walk. It's beautiful. And feels like home. The best dog park in the world is here, on the beach looking at the Olympic mountain range. Not to shabby. I highly recommend for a picnic, a walk, or just chilling like a villain. Watching the sunset here is pretty spectacular as well.”

“Very rugged and several steep trails. A true nature park without a lot of wide and cut back trails, but they are well established and easy to see. Plenty to see, many creeks, ravines and miles of trails.”

“2 netted Baseball Fields. A small swing and play equipment area for children, and an enormous grass field where groups often hold soccer practice (in season). Luckily there are restrooms here. There is also a walking track around the perimeter of the swings and smaller field. It backs onto bushy vacant land, so beware of wild animals that are sometimes spotted around the area, or try to avoid going at dusk or dawn. Never seen any myself, but it's just something to be cautious about. My dogs (and I) have picked up the scent of something and they have wanted to run into the bushes. Parking lot is quite large, but it has large potholes in some areas, so drive slowly.”

“Recently, we experienced the death of a young child. Though every death that occurs in your life causes grief and sorrow; the unexpected death of a toddler rocks you to your core. We felt helpless and useless. The decision on where to lay this wonderful little child to rest was extremely difficult. Purdy & Walter's at Floral Hills was very helpful and understanding. They made the process as smooth as possible. The staff at Floral Hills took great care of the family. They went above and beyond the call of duty to ease the strain on this grieving family. We are appreciative of the support that was given by Brenda McCoy and her staff.”

“Cute little park with a few parking spots, some benches and a great view of the sound.”

“Would be great to turn the green space slated for cemetery expansion into a public park with trails (already existing). Largest green space in the area, healthy second/third growth forest with very little invasive species and a variety of micro biomes.”

“Cute little park by the beach on the side of a hill with stairs leading down to some benches and lavender. Beautiful flowers and beach views although walking there is a bit tricky with a steep incline and not much sidewalk. Totally worth the visit. I was told there is a way to reach the actual beach if you go through some bushes down a steep hill and over the train tracks, but I just viewed it from a distance.”

“Best tacos in town by far without any doubt. This taco shop is probably one of the most accurate Mexican style taco shop the average consumer will ever need. I recommend trying this fine establishment at a minimum once and I can pretty much guarantee that this place will be one of your staple food places you will go to in the future.”

“My wife and kids love to go to this little park, and there's a bunch of signage saying that they're getting ready to remodeling the entire thing. From the architect pictures it looks like it's going to be a great new Park!”

“A nicely maintained trail, there's an outhouse about a mile in. After that, it's switchbacks for another mile until you get to the top of Coyote Ridge. There you'll have a lovely view to the west of a valley, more foothills and the Rocky Mountains beyond. A pleasant couple of hours if you can do the hill climbing.”
