“We just got done hiking and were looking for any place we could hopefully get snacks at before starting our 2.5 hour drive back home. We didn't have cell service so finding something on Maps was out of the question but we came across this store as we were driving. It was pleasantly surprising when we walked in. I didn't catch the man's name who was working there, but he was very nice to talk with. He also gave us a map of the surrounding trails for better planning on our part. They had plenty of snacks and beverages and hoodies and supplies you would need to camp with. The prices were ridiculously low! I'm not 100% sure but I think there might even be a bar in the back connected to the store. The atmosphere was chill. They even have a black cat as the store greeter inside (that was my favorite part:)”

“I was surprised to see this spot in the middle of a business park. I've been going here after hours to practice skateboarding in the empty parking lots and decided to try it out for lunch today. I'd definitely order here again! *Experience: 5/5 - I prescheduled my order online through Yelp. Super easy and my order was ready for pick-up when I arrived. *Tofu banh mi: 5/5 - I ordered mine with extra cilantro and pickled vegetables. I really like that the bread isn't a full baguette with rounded ends. It's much nicer to eat this rectangular version with ends cut off. The bread was also a great texture: crunchy on the outside, soft inside, and not too thick. Veggies were fresh. The tofu is different from any other banh mi I've had - they use the thinner type of fried/breaded tofu and it's slightly sweet. Good amount (not too much) mayo, so the bread didn't get soggy. They also use the whole stalk of cilantro, which I prefer since the stems taste the same and are crunchy - but keep that in mind if you don’t like the stems. *Vietnamese iced coffee: 5/5 - Was a 16 oz to-go cup. Delicious and sweet. I could have used a little more coffee and less condensed milk, but that's just my preference.”

“On December 6 we asked Done Right Plumbing to come out and move our hot and cold water pipes from one wall to another. We also asked them to prepare the drain pipe for a tile base. The price was right, quality of equipment met my expectations and the guys were professional and friendly. It was a pleasure doing business for the most part. But, when they installed the new valve, they forgot to do something that apparently affected the other shower in on this floor of our home. For a week we were taking cold showers. I thought it was just a quark that would work itself out and then we had to leave out of town for the weekend. Monday the 13 we called and asked them to come just double check that it was good. They sent a team right away. The problem was identified and fixed quickly. We tested the new valve to make sure hot was coming out. We also checked the other shower to make sure my family would be happy. All is good now. Would liked to have done without the cold showers though.”

A nice lake view from the porch of Discovery Lodge is a great way to start the day and was only topped by camping on the beach, lake-side. The trails can be a little underwhelming, but the Lodge offers a little but of civilization to make for a more comfortable trip.”

“This was a really cute little stand with great coffee. The adorable and nice lady working was petite with light brown hair. I didn't catch her name but I wanted to give her props. She was very friendly and made really good coffee. I've lived here for 6 years and have never stopped by. I decided to thay day and was happily surprised. Lately coffee stands have really been miss lately, on the perfect mixture of coffee to flavor ratio. The nice person working made my coffee spot on! Definitely will stop by again sometime. I wish it was closer to my home. I'd go there all the time.”

“I've changed my rating, only because this was my first time at this location. I came in first thing in the morning on a Saturday and asked the counter person if they had any pop up emitters. The customer service representative did seem to know what I wanted then said you did have them even though your website said you did. Customer representative said I was looking at national site. Sorry, that's not going to fly with me. Representative didn't seem to interested in doing much else other than directing me to Horizon down the road. I'll probably just take my business to H.D. Fowler from now on.”

“Alderleaf opened up many doors for myself, it was a life changing experience but the school is not for everyone, though sometimes i wish it was! Like many situations in life, what you put in is what you get out, and after two years as a student at alderleaf I am ready to take on the next chapter of my life and plunge forward in my studies at Western Washington University. I aspire an environmental career (park ranger), and my time at Alderleaf not only sets me apart from the rest but it drew me closer to our natural world and brought out my naturalist side in extraordinary ways. At this school we learn about permaculture, animal track and sign, ethnobotany, plant ID, forestry, ancestral skills, friction fire and wilderness survival skills to name a few. Alderleaf is a incredibly close-knit community that is very welcoming, but mostly inspiring. “Plenty of street parking out front. I chose this establishment for a second opinion, and I am so happy I did. Their initial assessment was a pricey replacement part with labor. When I asked for them to show me where to replenish a particular liquid, they didn't hesitate to open the hood and guide me - very patient and great customer service there! Upon guiding me to my power steering portal, they realized they made a mistake with their initial assessment, and quickly informed me of their mistake. They could've taken advantage of me as I am not mechanically inclined, but they chose to be up front. 1. Great customer service, and not just with me, but with everyone who called in while I waited, and everyone in the waiting room. 2. No negative vibes upon entering establishment. 3. It's always a good idea to have the mechanics physically show you what is what under the hood. They are still human, after all.”
