“Back in the end of February my husband and i purchased our fifth wheel from Sunset RV. We meet some of the employees when we did our walk through and had some minor repair work done. We met Benny and Danny, who were awesome. Nate, the service manager, was ok but he never returned calls and when i would talk to him he would say he would send Danny out to work on something, but never would. So when my husband and I had a blow out on our fifth wheel we brought it here to Sunset to be repaired. Now that they have two new Managers, Carl, the GM and Corey, the service manager, this service department was great. All of the employees followed through on what they said, they were NEVER rude to us and they were extremely helpful. I wish all companies had such a wonderful set of employees to work with. “What a great used car dealer! I had been too many over the last year looking for my specific vehicle. The guys were very welcoming and let me take out a couple trucks. I test drove one a couple times over 2 weekends before selecting it. After purchase while driving home it began experiencing problems related to the emissions system..I returned, they met me at the truck and offered to get it fixed if I still wanted it. “The sales process for my VW camper van was straightforward. They sold me the van at a fair market price with no need for haggling and no pressure to finance. The van is so nicely refurbished that it feels like it was transported to the future from its year of manufacture, aside from the > 100k odometer. They resolved the few minor issues I found after purchase for free (as per the purchase agreement), in a timely fashion, and with no argument. There were no surprise charges or hard up-sells on options. I can talk directly with the expert staff and they have been friendly and happy to offer advice on how to maintain the vehicle or fix something myself. I read all the negative reviews about this place, and at the time of my review, all are related to other vehicles, not camper vans. I will update this review with information about repair service once I have experienced that.”
