“The best college at UCSD - Pros: GE requirements aren't difficult and there aren't as many vs other colleges; prime location; caring administration and RAs; new dining hall; late night food options; mission (scholar and citizen) and general vibe. Cons: the marshall "uppers" & "lowers" (apartments) aren't great. The "lowers" especially have had bug and animal problems for a few years now and the age of the buildings definitely shows. Marshall is an awesome college to be in, but try to actually live somewhere else.”

She is very structured but makes each day unique and exciting for the kids. My son has very much enjoyed his time in class and has learned a lot through the creative activities she provides. “I moved in to this place sight-unseen from another state. And it WORKED OUT! I live in the Rainier floor plan, and I love it. I arrived with a giant suitcase and some stuff I just picked up from Target and Mae drove me to my unit so I didn't have to carry all that stuff all over the place. The apartment complex is clean, has good upkeep, and is mostly quiet. I personally love the location (quick to get on the freeway, close to plenty of shopping and restaurants). I see lots of people out walking their dogs and babies, so it's an area that feels safe as well. I've only had one service ticket so far, and it was fixed same day. So far, I love this place.”

“So, we loved the atmosphere and clean space. The restaurant is fancy, but not stuffy. I felt plenty comfortable having my one year old make a mess on the table. No kids menu, so not much for picky esters if you have one. Mine eats everything and liked the fettuccine Alfredo the best. The food was yummy. Having said that, I have to mention that the lunch took two hours, and not because we were taking our time, but because we found ourselves waiting for service most of the time. We had a good time, but if you're in any sort of lunch break, just skip this one and come back another day. I will be late for work. 😅 There is a marketplace that is a fun touch you can get snacks and wine and coffee and pastries and more. It is pricey, but I'm sure that's only because it looks artesian from locally sourced places. Good stuff!”
