“There's not much to see or appreciate at first glance but the information boards really help fill the gap, allowing visitors to imagine the size and scope of the arsenal in its heyday. With enough funding, they may be able to commit to a faithful reconstruction of the arsenal, based on archaeological findings and historical archives.”

“This is a historic place that can easily be missed because it's a small door in between the Provost military center and the information center, it also has a look at the insides of the military center from the bottom followed by stairs which leads to the actual boarding that Mrs Stipes , a widow of three children run, there are well preserved rooms upstairs with some historic furniture and also a look at the officers room aside”

Sports fields are available when not being used or reserved by the Glade Valley Athletic Association. There are also garden plots for rent, and a historic manor house (Harris Farm) with outbuildings. The yard waste recycling and compost facilities are located near the water tower. Harris Farm is a historic home and farm complex located within the park. The main house was built in 1855, and is a three-story center plan house in predominantly late Greek Revival style, with some Italianate elements. The agricultural complex consists of a bank barn with an attached granary; a second frame barn that shares an animal yard with the bank barn; a row of frame outbuildings including a converted garage, a workshop, and a chicken house. There is also a drive-through double corn crib; and a frame pig pen from 1914. The 20th-century buildings consist of a frame poultry house, a dairy barn with milk house and two silos, and an octagonal chicken coop. A lime kiln is located on the edge of the property by the intersection of Glade Rd. and Devilbiss Bridge Rd. The Harris Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.”
