We lived in a townhouse for 1 year and then when we had a baby and needed more room, we moved into a larger unit in the same building for another year because we liked the management and building so much. “This review is for the apartments at 2114 Muir Field Rd. These apartments are nice and management seems to try to keep them up to date. They recently replaced old windows with nice new windows which was nice. I recently had some issues with smoke in my apartment due to other tenants smoking in their unit and management was able to take steps to mitigate and eventually resolve the issue. Overall I would recommend living here.”

“[Lakewood Gardens] From beginning to end, this rental company has been nothing short of amazing. Paul and Anne are very friendly, approachable, reasonable, and delightful rental managers to have. They genuinely care about what they do, which tends to make quite a difference. Not to mention, these two are some of the most responsible and trustworthy people I have come across during my apartment searches. Their office is located in a unit in the middle of the Lakewood complex, which makes for quick, accessible conversations and rent turn-ins, as well as adding to the comfortable feel of the whole experience (including cookies and an aquarium!) There's even a little free library in front of it! Maintenance requests are handled quickly, professionally, and courteously. The complex is located in an amazing spot for busline activity (Route 2, runs every half-hour from either side of the complex), as well as walking access to Tenney Park, and nestled into a short bike ride away from Williamson and Atwood neighborhoods. The grounds are kept beautifully, and there's a lot of green-thumb action from the neighbors, who have made their front and side gardens into works of natural art. While our time here was short, we very much enjoyed our experience here and would highly recommend anyone out there looking for an apartment to consider Docken to rent from!”

The properties are maintained to the very highest standards and Brent is constantly making improvments to his properties. They truly care about their tennents and their properties. I never had a problem with requests for service. Any issues were always handled immediately and with a sincere apology for any inconvenience. I moved to California 2 years ago. I still keep in touch with Brent. Great people to know and to rent from. There are none better in Madison.”
