My teeth had deteriorated to the point where I had trouble chewing most foods. Then I developed a bad toothache. “As a first time mother who wanted to have a home birth, partnering with Raquel as my midwife was an awesome experience. It was such a gift to birth my daughter in my own environment. But what made it so natural was that my prenatal visits were also at home with Raquel, so she was already familiar with my family and our space prior to the birth. Raquel is highly professional and proficient in her work as a midwife. I can tell that she truly cares about her clients in a holistic way that is also very respectful to diverse family structures and lifestyles (I cannot express how valuable it was for me to feel comfortable and free of judgement with those who attended my birth!). Prior to having Raquel as my midwife, I never imagined how impactful a midwife could be for postpartum support. In addition to checking up on my daughter, Raquel provided a lot of emotional support for me and my partner, which was so helpful during our early fourth trimester experience. “My Mini Cooper is my baby and I always do the repairs myself unless it's a bigger job, and in that case I have a friend who's an awesome mechanic. After moving to Madison I needed to find a new mechanic who knew what they're doing. I tried the Mini Cooper Dealership on three separate occasions and they were all bad experiences so I wrote them off. (Their prices were outrageous too) I tried another import repair shop on the west side and they installed a heater blower motor that has made loud noises since. I was getting exhausted, then I found this gem. My Mini had been throwing a check engine light for some time whenever the turbo would be hard pressed. I tried several things to fix it and couldn't figure it out. I took it to Foreign Car Specialists and they walked me through the issue and solution. After repairing it the car runs A1, and it was reasonable. I will always bring my car here moving forward.”

“Best place in the Madison area to learn to fly. I've gotten my PPL and instrument rating from here between 2017 and 2020. No waiting on the taxiway idling through $125/hr like KMSN - you're in the air in less than 5 minutes after engine start. Diversity of rental fleet is limited to C152's and C172's (3 N models, 2 have classic NAV radios, 1 GPS equipped, and 2 Skyhawk SPs with nice Garmin GPS units) but the aircraft are well-maintained and good trainers, for sure.”

“I love this place. I live in Colorado but was spending a lot of time in Madison this past summer helping my mom through her journey with cancer. Good Neighbor Yoga became my one hour oasis where I could recenter and recharge. I do not do a lot of yoga, but I never felt intimidated. The instructor/owner met everyone right where they were at. I would recommend this studio to any and everyone. It is unpretentious and has a great calming atmosphere.”
