“This place is great. I know a lot of my neighbors, the area is safe and quiet, the apartments have great sound isolation, and maintenance has been very responsive to small fixes. I like that many of the residents are professionals at Epic and many are older residents that are easy to get along with. I feel very comfortable here and I'm torn between buying a house here and renting this place for another year, but it's been so great here that it's hard to find the motivation to leave. I've been very satisfied and have recommended living at this place to 10+ people, including 3 that have moved in and are now living here.”

“We have been living here for about 4 months. The complex is pretty good. I have never lived in an apartment before. They have a hot tub and pool. Also, a work out center. The facility never has an empty house for very long. When offered a garage or carport take it. There are many times if you cone home in the evening you are parking on the complete opposite side of the complex just to have a parking spot. Sometimes you may have to park outside the complex because if the amount of full parking. They have poop bags for your dogs with trash cans so there is no excuse to not pick it up. But, people are lazy. They are currently fixing up the building. They also used cheap contractors paint. So, good luck cleaning any tg hing off the wall without taking paint off. Animal friendly.”

“I’ve been living here since August 2019 and have absolutely loved it. We had some continuing issues with a neighbor, but management was always responsive to the concerns and really took the time to make us feel at ease. Daniel, one of the leasing agents, is hands down our favorite person in the world! He talks to us like we’re friends, not just tenants, and is such a joy to be around. I also really appreciate Amanda, the property manager, who has more than accommodated our requests and concerns, and always responds quickly to emails. It is dog friendly, so there are quite a few of them, but you can’t fault the property for the way others handle their dogs’ behavior. Amenities are wonderful and really sealed the deal for us moving from the downtown area, as the same property there would cost double. 10/10 recommend 1GP!”

“[Lakewood Gardens] From beginning to end, this rental company has been nothing short of amazing. Paul and Anne are very friendly, approachable, reasonable, and delightful rental managers to have. They genuinely care about what they do, which tends to make quite a difference. Not to mention, these two are some of the most responsible and trustworthy people I have come across during my apartment searches. Their office is located in a unit in the middle of the Lakewood complex, which makes for quick, accessible conversations and rent turn-ins, as well as adding to the comfortable feel of the whole experience (including cookies and an aquarium!) There's even a little free library in front of it! Maintenance requests are handled quickly, professionally, and courteously. The complex is located in an amazing spot for busline activity (Route 2, runs every half-hour from either side of the complex), as well as walking access to Tenney Park, and nestled into a short bike ride away from Williamson and Atwood neighborhoods. The grounds are kept beautifully, and there's a lot of green-thumb action from the neighbors, who have made their front and side gardens into works of natural art. While our time here was short, we very much enjoyed our experience here and would highly recommend anyone out there looking for an apartment to consider Docken to rent from!”
