I really liked the dentist. He seemed like he really cared even called a few times to check up on my dog after a cleanup and tooth removal. The price was higher than most places but I wanted a true doggy dentist and I believe you get what you pay for. I was worried because my dog is older and overweight and wanted to make sure he was in good hands.

We brought our dachshund mix here after a dental surgery he’d had months prior at another vet’s office didn’t fix all of his issues, and we realized he was still in pain. The difference between the surgery process with Dr. Honzelka and the vet who did his last dental surgery elsewhere was night and day. Dr. Honzelka was so thorough, took time explaining things and involving me in Rumpel’s care by discussing all of the different treatment options when he discovered multiple dental problems, and was up front about all costs. He made me feel very comfortable about the whole thing, and I have total confidence that Rumpel got the best care with him. He even called personally the morning after surgery to check in with my little goblin, which was very reassuring. Dr. Honzelka clearly really cares about animals, and is very thorough and knowledgeable. Don’t waste your time and money letting your regular vet do dental work; trust these specialists instead to make sure things are done correctly the first time! We’ll be sure to bring our pup here for yearly check-ups from now on to stay on top of any future issues. Thanks, Dr. Honzelka!
