  We brought one of our rabbits here a few years ago, before the ownership changed, and were not impressed at all to say the least. When I tearfully asked the vet if he thought our rabbit was going to live he literally said "Meh. It's a rabbit. You look at them wrong and they die". Last week our Dutch went into stasis and we brought him in to MECA, feeling not too great about it but knowing he needed help. We had very little wait time and Dr. Johnson was so kind and thoroughly explained Comet's diagnosis and our options. We decided to keep him in hospital overnight. Dr. Johnson kept in great touch with us to give us updates. We were able to pick him up the next afternoon and he has been steadily improving. Dr. J called to check up on him. I was so impressed with our experience this time! Thank you Dr. J!

  I couldn't be more pleased with the treatment given to our dog Polly. I came in with Polly at 6:30 am Wednesday morning due to respiratory distress and she was taken immediately. Polly's x-rays showed an enlarged heart, heart murmur, heart disease and fluid in her lungs. All of this was shown to me by the doctor and it was very noticeable. I ended up having to leave her for 24 hours in their care. I was extremely devastated but knew it was in her best interest. We came back Wednesday evening to visit, as we were told we could visit any time. We were able to visit with Polly and she was in an oxygen kennel. I was amazed by how much better she looked, she was breathing better and peppy!! The same doctor came back to talk with us and see if we had any questions. We were able to pick up Polly Thursday morning and she is doing incredibly well. Polly is almost 14 years old and considering her age, she recovered very quickly. I read so many reviews about the price being too high, and all I can say is, having my baby back is priceless! This is a 24 hour emergency animal hospital, fully staffed and had I waited until morning for my vet (pending I could get in), I dont think Polly would be here. I am extremely grateful for the love and care of VCA to my fur baby!! Thank you!!!

  The staff at VCA were extremely helpful. Our family lost our beloved cat( Bailey) that we had for 10 years, and they were the only vet in the area that was open 24 hours that we could take him to. When I arrived, they noticed how much I was grieving and let me pay my last respects to him. A few days later, my family received a sympathy card in the mail from them. I dont know any other place that does that, and I was/am extremely grateful for that. To the staff at VCA, THANK YOU SO MUCH

  I have taken many of my pets here for a variety of reasons. No matter how big or how small they have always taken my pet right away. They are upfront and honest about all the ways to treat your pet and about the prices. Its expensive because it's an emergency room it's not a vet office. I see that complaint on here but this is a 24 hour emergency hospital. It's going to cost more. And I will pay for the peace of mind and quick service In the middle of the night or on the weekends. So thank you for all u do.
