(September 20, 2019, 4:01 pm)Had lunch with several retirees that I worked with, had a great time catching up. Our waitress was wonderful and very patient with us as we talked and laughed the afternoon away. But all wouldn't matter if the food wasn't up to The Packing House's usual standards, lunch was just great.
(September 17, 2019, 5:37 pm)I had excellent roasted veggies on rice with a sweetish sauce, and a really good dessert creme Brule with fresh fruit topping it. The restaurant was crowded and we had a larger group with people who arrived at different times, and separate bills. The service was very good. I just wish they had a few less-expensive menu choices.

The person that wrote the one star review must be suicidal as he (or she) can't possible like some of the best things in life because obviously nothing seams good enough for them.
Packing house is 1 hour from where we live and combined with the traffic that accompanies the trip (especially with the 10 year construction season under way), we still can't wait to get back the House and it's fine , friendly staff.
Four words that perk everyone up "Bacon wrapped water chestnuts".
Don't let those people with obvious problems they're unable to solve try to tear you down Packing House!!
We've always enjoyed our visits.

(September 1, 2019, 8:32 pm)The food was fabulous! I had the Beef Wellington...so tender and delicious. Prime rib, salad, soup, banana cream pie - everything was perfect! Our waitress, Christine, was super! Looking forward to going back.
