“Not just a boring Botanic Garden, but three different beautifully curated, interactive, fun and themed domes/gardens! My favorite is definitely the show garden, which was decorated with the Christmas theme that is absolutely magical. Who would expect to find a sleigh or organ in the midst of a Botanical Garden!? It feels like I've walked through the wardrobe and entered Narnia! There are activity sheets for you to pick out interesting or peculiar things in the gardens, which I thought was an absolute great idea, not only interesting and interactive for children but highly educational for adults too! Easily the best Botanic Garden I've been to!”

“The Milwaukee County Public Park System is one of the nicest in the country. Of course, this is obviously a personal opinion, however I've spent a good portion of my career traveling as a Journeyman in the construction trades, thus I do have plenty of experience in more cities than I can remember. Back Bay Park, although small is no exception. Right on Lake Michigan, the scenic views and fresh air can't be beat.”

“A very popular beach. Especially in the summertime you can find games and tournaments going on and food vendors. You can also rent water skis and bring your boat out. A long dock is nearby that goes out onto the lake for a great view. There's a children's playground, outdoor exercise equipment, and walking or running trail. There are at least three parking lots and you can park along the street next to the beach. There is a public bathroom and usually police patrol the area. A great place to hang out for the summer or a scroll on the beach during the other seasons.”

“Madison Park is a fun park for kids to play. They have a great variety of playground equipment as well as basketball and soccer areas and a track loop. My kids love playing there during summer vacation and they really love what they call "the snow mountains" during the winter. Either way, no matter what the season is, there is fun to be explored at Madison Park.”

“It's a very nice family friendly area. Several restaurants, salon, businesses. Under the Hoan Bridge there is fishing area. Must have fishing license of course. This area has changed dramatically total improvement from 20 years ago when it was abandoned shuttered up buildings. You can walk your dogs, run, exercise. Its clean so help keep it that way. There are many trash cans along the paths. You can end up down by Bradford Beach if you continue walking under the bridge you'll see signs where you can enjoy and learn about our birds & other beautiful animals in this area.”

“Lots of fun!! My son and his wife came to visit, from northern Wisconsin, they brought their 2 dogs along, it's close to my place, so we met there, as I figured it would be a good place for us to meet up, as their dogs needed a place to romp, after a 3 hr car ride. Everyone loved it, esp.... the 2 dogs.”
