“What a great business with fantastic employees. I took my open water scuba course with Aquatic Adventures and what a wonderful experience. From signing up to receiving my certificate, it was a smooth and enjoyable process. Definitely a great value and they have very competitive prices on gear with a very large selection in the store. All my gear is perfect for what I need and I am very satisfied. I think the best thing however is the staff. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. Not once did I feel like I was treated less than an equal even though I knew nothing. Five out of five stars to Aquatic Adventures. I’d give 10 out of 5 if I could!”

“I’ve been taking lessons from Chris for about 7 months now and I have to say it has not only drastically improved my guitar playing but also turned playing guitar from a hobby into a lifestyle and career choice. “As I look at and visit archery shops I try to go in and ask questions and learn something new with every shop. This place was by far the best, everyone one there is professional and won’t hesitate to answer any question I had. I went in Thursday and talked to them, shot a some of the new bows and then decided to bring my bow in the next day and have it looked at seeing how two other well known shops in my area both miss diagnosed an issue I had. I had a cam lean on my Hoyt carbon element and one shop said that I couldn’t do anything about and then timed in my bow. The next shop was able to take care of the cam lean the then retimed my bow again saying it was off.... interesting enough I chalked it up to the cam lean being off and newer string stretching in... after finding marks on my bottom vanes from my target arrows I figured out it was a timing issue on my drop away. I felt comfortable and confident in bringing it to whales tales for them to look at and they found that my drop away string was too tight and was throwing my timing off. Didn’t take no time at all for him to fix it. I am bad with names and don’t recall who worked on it to give them credit. He corrected the timing and let me shoot at the range and to check out what he did to make sure it was shooting right. Low and behold the timing is now no longer an issue, I’m not hitting my drop away, and the bow is whisper quiet. This is hands down the best place I took my bow and is now my go to bow shop. Thank you for the great service.”

“My mom loved this place when she lived in Wisconsin for a summer in her teens, back in ‘89. I heard her talk about it my entire childhood. When she heard we were going to be in the area, she begged for us to make a stop by for her. I was happy to report to her that it lived up to the pedestal she put it on. I’ve never had creamier custard. The seating area is nice, shaded, and peaceful. The staff was unbelievably friendly, and the fish fry was absolutely delicious. Thanks for the second generation memories!”

“Hot City is a master class stylist, with phenomenal talent and limitless creativity. She listens, understands, and assists with managing hair long after you leave the salon. I prefer low maintenance when it comes to my hair and she has provided me with solutions through coloring and haircuts that are manageable in between (sometimes very long) appointments with her. She has never criticized what less than exceptional products I have used on my hair, instead she explains why those products should not be used and offers options including and beyond what product is in her salon, always keeping in mind budgets. The products she offers are affordable and she often has exceptional deals and offers with what she offers in her salon. She has a wide selection and the products are fantastic! She focuses on you! She understands you are the one who will be dealing with your hair on a daily basis. Her initial consultation took much longer than I had ever had with a stylist previously because she truly wants to do what is best for you. If you decide you like a cut, she’ll want to know why so you understand what is needed to keep the style and how much or how little work will need to go into maintaining that look. She has taken the time to show and let me practice how to use the tools she has recommended (i.e. curling your hair with a straight iron) with patience and expertise I had not previously found. Sure a stylist can tell you what you can do, but I have not met one previously who has taken the time to show me what to do and even let me try it myself under her guidance.
